Hiya - hope everyone is okay this morning. :)

We went on our trip to Flamingoland yesterday, and amazingly the weather wasn't that bad. We had a couple of little showers, but mostly it was either just overcast, or on occasion...gasp....sunny! There was a huge downpour just as we were about to leave, but we only got a bit wet running to the car.

The best part was, we only spent £1 all day, because we took a picnic and everything else was free....wooooo!

I've got some photos on my phone but it's a new phone and I've no idea how to transfer them to the laptop yet - I'll have a go later.

I'm not sure what to do today - my credit card bill has arrived, and it's £456.43  - I have just paid a big chunk off the loan, but should I redraw it from the loan and pay it off the credit card? I will feel a bit sad about redrawing on the loan, but my overall debt will be exactly the same, and the rate is cheaper on the loan than on the card.

I'm going to cut the card up I think, because Stu has one that is 0% on purchases for 12 months, so if we do need to buy anything urgently, we can use that. At the moment I have ended up with 3 credit cards (thanks Quidco), so I could do with getting some closed, because I seem to be very easily tempted at the moment. :o

    Eek! 3 cards???
That to me is like putting a bottle of vodka in front of an alcoholic...

I hear you about the wedges hunny, they are lethal! I', forever going over on mine although, I do look rather fetching...not whilst falling, I mean when I wear them...

    ah burger-it's raining. again.

The most tragic thing is, I have damaged my lovely wedges. :(

I think they are fixable, it's just the sole that has come apart from the wedge at the front, so if I knew what to use, I could just glue it back on. They were a bit scuffed on one of the straps too, but I've managed to polish the scuff with some matching shoe polish and you can't see it at all.

Hahahaha, how silly am I, I hadn't even thought of taking them to the cobblers!

I still have this little sinking feeling that we wont be able to do the extension, but at least we will have tried - I love our little home, and I don't want to move unless it is the only option.

Bunny - I know it sounds a bit negative, but I can't help looking at the two manhole covers at the side of the house and thinking 'there's something under there'...lol. Just hope it's something that can be moved, and not a big sewerage main or something!

OO - awww, thanks - although she's quite likely to bite you back at the moment, it's her latest skill... She's so adorable at the moment though, learning new words every day, and trying to run  which is leading to a few bumped heads, and giving her plenty of occasion to say her favourite phrase, 'ahdeah' (oh dear). :rotfl:
