Hope everyones weekend is going ok!

Has anybody dealt with In Control Debt Solutions based in Exeter previously on a DMP. I'm with them and want to get shut of them this month.

    Hi Tony

Hope you don't mind me gatecrashing in on your thread, I don't have any personal experince with DMP's but I should imagine they like to split your money equally between all your creditors (as in the biggest debt gets biggest percentage ) so it doesn't show favouritism over one or another, but if you're going to look at managing it yourself then maybe you could work your own plan out?

I'm sorry to hear about the situation with your kids, I hope your ex can find it in her somewhere to let their kids see their dad, it always upsets me when I see children used as weapons, I hope it works out for you xx

    hi millie,

no not at all, you're part of our other group anyway! yes, they pay pro-rata based on the size of the debt, but also take 15%. I want to stop that this month and pay them directly. I've then got another 15% to give them. Also, I would like just to get rid of smaller amounts but dont know if that would cause any grief!

Thanks for your support on my kids, we are in court again on Tuesday!

Hi guys, I hope everyone is ok!

I have just looked at my Credit Report for the first time ever -earned £6.50 through Quidco too!! - and it says I only owe £15k on it. It does not include a credit card debt to Bank of Scotland for £2600! Also, it still says I am outstanding £451 to BMW Finance for my car but this was paid in full last year, so I will write to them about this.

Has anybody any ideas what I should do about the Bank of Scotland debts and a few other bits that are not on there?
