got one of these the last time they were on offer, must have got a dud, because although looked the part and made lots of noise it had little or no suction

Mine arrived today - ordered it at 7pm on 19th, so it's arrived really quickly, when you consider there has been a weekend in between. Really, REALLY, pleased with it. I agree with the comment about it being the best one for picking up hair from Persian cats - amazing suction and the hairs don't get all trapped round the beater brushes.

I've got a compost heap, and the dust 'bin' epties onto there wonderfully.
I agree about it being a heavy machine, but the lift-out part is really light, so is ideal for the stairs and taking out to the car. It's cable is miles longer than our old vacuum too.

I'm sure I've got a brand new one, with just a few scratch marks on one side. That doesn't affect how it works, so a real bargain. Thanks to the OP for the 'heads up' on this.

blue spinpower is supposedly the model up( very slight differences), stair cleaner tool slots in to the end of the hose, nothing special, about 8 inches.

    Wow, mine has just arrived.
Great product, different colour to what I expected - seems to be next model up (not complaining.!!!).

Great power certainly seems to do the job.

Only snag was that part of wheel has cracked and snapped off, found remnants in bottom of box, rang customber services who suggested I send it back, I explained that could they not send me a wheel out and I'll just fit it myself, seems a waste to send whole unit back for them to replace, they agreed but said if I had any problems fitting it just to ring them back.

Great thread, thanks to "dazed" :-)

mine arrived yesterday & I think it is great. I've never had an upright before so it will take a bit of getting used to. I only got the red model but i'm happy with it & that's all I expected so :D
