...until you you find you have a virus but the above 2 do not detect it...0

Yes, SuperAntiSpyware gets recommended quite a lot. By now though I feel fairly sure that any scan that does not run from a CD after you have turned the computer off is not going to find this.
(I would be interested to know what you mean by Networking Website Donnie, am I missing something here?)
Really?
Have you run the Trojan Hunter 5 software...or SuperAntiSpyware? Either in the standard manner or in Safe Mode?
Networking? For example hi5 or any of the many websites that ask you to enter your webmail sign in details during sign up( of course you should skip that part.).

We know we have a Virus because Live Messenger is issuing virus spreading links to the contact list and some MSN contacts remark on these appearing in their Live Messenger chat window. I suppose it is just possible that someone or something else is issuing the MSN messages having hijacked the Windows Live login... though I have not heard of this before. Plus I believe it is not possible to be logged in twice at the same time on MSN.
Yes Trojan Hunter might be next on the list to try... the reviews were great 2 years ago but more recent reviews are so-so.0 -
Since it's a free trial....
Ensure that once TJ5 is installed, that you have the latest ruleset in use: http://www.misec.net/trojanhunter/updating/

Maybe time to post a HijackThis log.0

Trying Trojanhunter and 1st thing I notice is that it cannot scan folders or files with double-byte character names (eg Chinese). After adding the Asian IME it is easily possible to add these folders/files (or just copy them/save them in from emails with their Chinese file names). Trojanhunter just throws up an error message on these items. For a supposedly mature product this looks very weak.0

should I install kaspersky before removing Norton or the other way around?
You must remove Norton first otherwise it will clash and cause problems when you install Kaspersky.
Norton is notoriously difficult to get rid of completely, use the removal tool to ensure you get rid of it.
