Help! Dead rats in the garden!

...my water butt at the end of my garden.

Smells quite a bit and probably been there a while.

How do I dispose of this thing properly? I'm in NW London.

I would bag it up and bin it. Either get a big plastic bag scoop it up and turn it inside out and seal or get something to scoop it up and then bag and bin it

    Blimey!

I was slightly worried about the water contamination and various diseases associated with rats. Should I be?

    Thanks

contact environmental health dept and ask them. They should be listed in your local council's web page.

    In all seriousness.... yes

Be very careful around rats. Ask the council as recommended above and I wouldn't advise using the water in the butt ;)
