as mentioned in the original post, the AA policy only covers the car and not the driver... how about the RAC policy?

According to the nectar aa site there is a 2000 points if you sign up now,but it says not in conjuction with any other offer, unless anyone know differently, otherwise you just get the normal 2 points per pound spent.

    http://www.cashbackkings.com is £25 and not £22
  • Does anyone have opinions on which offers the better service?

I know it's only for RAC and AA enquiries but has anyone tried Greenflag, got 'Full' relay cover for my vehicle the other day and with cashback from quidco (£20) it worked out at £45. Now that is a steal in my opinion, they also do additional vehicle cover for not much more money!!

It seems to me that if I want 2 car cover, then with RAC it is better value to buy 2 individual policies with £22 off each- is that how anyone else sees it?

Thats incorrect. The cover on RAC is the driver not the vehicle.

However it was cheaper for me to take a policy out for the wife and one out for me, rather than get the joint cover.

Did this last year. I cancelled my renewal on Monday this week to do the same again.

Thanks!! Just signed up to AA deal online, says £20 voucher will be with us within 28 days. This is a huge saving for me - last year we had 2 cars with AA cover - £144!! I cancelled it before renewal in Jan 08. Now we only have 1 car so covering the car rather than the driver is much cheaper for us (and it's 8yrs old so qualifies for voucher yippee!)
