Blimey it has been a while since I have written in here. Not good.

I have been off the DFW wagon for a couple of weeks not and really want to get back on. I haven't been spending but I haven't been putting in the extra effort needed to be debt free either particularly in the making extra money stakes.

So it is time to get back on that wagon and put 100% in to getting rid of this debt. I have joined a challenge to clear £15k by Xmas 09. I am not 100%convinced I can do that but I am going to give it my best shot.

So tomorrow we're back on track so I feel a need for a list lol.

    - Clean living room and bedroom carpets (cleaner on loan for free :T )
    - List on Ebay - catch up with 5 a day challenge
    - Daily clicks
    - Join dooyoo and start writing some reviews#
    - Check for Mystery Shops (haven't had any for ages  )

    Well I am getting there.

Carpets have been cleaned, Dooyoo has been started and some reviews done. Can't sit and do loads all at once as I know I will get bored so going to aim for 5 a day and will do them as and when throughout the day.

Been out for a lovely walk with the pup and my little girl which blew the cobwebs away for sure.

Have been playing with the snowball and working out interest and have a slight change of plan now. I was paying back our last credit card but as we have got the balance down on that we are paying more interest on one of our catalogues so will be transferring all over payments to this now for a few months.

No Ebay done yet but will crack on with that once little one in bed.

Plan now is put the washing away and then start on a lasagne, yummy.

Hey hun, nice to see you're feeling back on track.
With the 15k challenge it doesnt have to be done by Xmas, it was actually just a challenge to see who can do it first but some people wanted a date, so we threw Xmas 09 out there. I know I definitely wont have had it done by then!

the walk sounds nice and refreshing, I wish I had a dog :( DH has said I can get a pug if I find one, but its all cost cost cost!
Sometimes a good old walk can really help clear the mind out.

So how many payments till the catalogue is sent to the big paper shredder in the sky? :)

Thanks hun.Realistically I know I am unlikely to hit it by Xmas 09 but by god I'll try lol as that would be fantastic. I will never beat myself up about my DFD as in my eyes as long as its going down that is the main thing and the DFD will come.I have learnt how to manage my money and have completely changed my ways and I think that is probably the most important thing. My pup was a present from my parents (Xmas) and she is so lovely and a real joy to have. I am loving taking her out for walks and my little girl does too.

awwww now I really want one!

I'd love to get a dog for xmas, that would be super but its unlikely to happen.

Glad to see you feeling positive. You're right about the DFD. As much as its nice to have something to aim for all that really matters is that its getting paid off, you're comfortable and happy.

Bad day yesterday for me my laptop literally exploded, had smoke and everything lol.

It was quite old and very well used and I knew it was on its way out. It had become very slow and unreliable.

Luckily my parents came to my rescue :o and a new laptop should be with me in the next few days. Until then I am sharing our PC so might not be about as much.

Off work now till next week :T so plan is to do lots of debt busting and not a lot of spending.

    Todays to do list:

    - get to £5 on STP
    - list more Ebay items - need to list 45 to catch up with challenge
    - find the bottom of the laundry bin
    - daily clicks
    - sort new spreadsheet for £15k challenge.

Eek! Explosions in the house... not a good thing - but glad to hear you're safe and even that a new laptop is on its way.

It was pretty scary I went to turn it on and we had a loud bang and then it started smoking.

Hubby grabbed it and rushed outside with it with my daughter screaming behind him as she had just put a Charlie and Lola sticker on it and wanted to save it :rotfl:

I have just realised as well that I haven't saved an up to date version of my budget onto my memory stick :-(
