  • Morning one and all.

A good start to the day in the doodledo household. Hubby got up with my little girl at 7.30 and let me lay in. I managed to get to 9.30 before she came and jumped on me lol.

Had a worrying day with Ruby yesterday she seemed very lethargic and hardly ate. She seems back to normal today so I am hoping it was just a side effect of her jabs.

We are off out to a Carvery lunch today celebrating my dads birthday, bless him he turned 65 this week and has retired. So a double celebration. My parents are a definate inspiration to me financially. They have both worked all their lives and never ever had debt apart from their mortgage. Now my dad is retired and my mum is part retired they have the same amount of cash coming in as when he was working full time. All down to saving and sensible/low risk investments. I can only dream of being like that at their age.

Hope to get some more bits photographed and sorted today for Ebaying next week. Will do all my clicks and any surveys that come my way and I might venture to some more STPing tonight.

    Have a good day!

I am off to a carvery too.......as it is DS birthday next week, my mum is taking us out.

Enjoy, and remember that the more you eat, the less you have to cook for the rest of the week :D

    Evening.

Have just got in from my second mystery shop and I think I have the bug for them now, although no more have come up in my area yet but fingers crossed it won't be long.

So £20 should be winging its way to me in the next couple of weeks and that will go straight off the MBNA card.

Had a very sad lunch hour at work today I designed myself a fancy spreadsheet for next year:rolleyes: . Next year should be a really good year for us as I think we may be able to be debt free all bar our mortgage by Feb/Mar 2010 so next year we should start seeing the number of creditors go down and the numbers tumble as we get rid of those debts being charged interest.:T

Tonight I plan to put some bits on Ebay although my little girl has been sent home from school early today as she fell asleep lol. So assuming she is coming down with something as she was tucked up in bed by 7pm last night so shouldn't be tired.

Spreadsheets are Good! Tho I must say I use pen and paper.... even my sig is hopelessly out of date. Hope your little girl has nothing too severe. I wish I could find some mystery shops, I only belong to two companies and I've got nothing right now. Ah well, I'm trying to do quidco stuff and matched betting, I suppose thats enough for now.

Hey, Feb/Mar 2010 is my DFD too - we can have a joint party......saves on the drink and nibbles if we split the cost :D

Morning everyone. A really nice day here the sun is shining and its not too cold. We still haven't put the heating on although we have been close a couple of times. Hubby bled all the radiators yesterday ready for when we do. I don't mind being a little chilly but I refuse to let my little girl be cold.

Isn't awful that the gas/electric companies have us over a barrel and that people who work full time have to try not to heat their house, agghhhh makes me mad

It's the OAPs I feel sorry for who have just their pensions to live on, I know they get fuel allowance but with the price hikes it probably won't cover even half. My hubbys Nan is 82 so she gets £300 from the Government which is good but she was saying the other day she may have to limit the use of her heating because of the price.

Anyway enough moaning lol. Working from home today as it's my study day. Have an assignment to type up and then thats the next module done. Only 7 more to go  .

Payday tomorrow thank good, can't wait to get some bills paid as I have rather a pile accumulated at the moment and really looking forward to getting my MBNA down into the next 100 brack. Silly things like the amount owing starting with a different number cheers me up lol.

Was hoping to do some more ebay today but they have stopped me listing asking for me to put a card number on. Well I tried last night but because I have emptied my account to the last penny almost it wouldn't authorise so will have to wait till tomorrow to do that.

So today it will be more STP, searching for my next mystery shop as they appear to have stopped and scratching my head for more money making plans.

Hi doodledo - have you tried quidco for all the freebies etc? Tho it does need money upfront sometimes, like the Vernons thing that was going on (is still going on, I checked yesterday).

I haven't put my heating on yet either - we're in for a little bit of a warm spell now, apparently, which will be nice, so I might be able to hold off till October. Here's hoping.

Have a good one - boogy around to STP, or isn't it that kind of music??
