Thanks Karma.
I do some of the freebie clicks on Quidco and the obvious renewals etc but must admit I haven't done much else. Was actually looking on there last night and found some bits to take advantage of like magazine subscriptions etc. Definately need to do some more investigating though. Got a letter this morning about one of my debts. It was an old credit card that I knew I had but to be honest I had lost the details
so I had left it and was going to deal with it once other debts sorted hoping I could get the details from a credit check.
I know not great but I can't change how I was in the past pre LBM.
Anyway now I have their details I have phoned them this morning and sorted out a repayment plan. Luckily interest is stopped on the account so I am throwing the minimum at them to keep them happy for now whilst I sort out the other interest debts I have.
Its annoying in one respect as been a while since I have had any of these letters but also in a sick way I feel pleased that its finally come to light if that makes sense.
So another £1600to add to my total. Best get ebaying lol. Wonder how much a toilet trained 3 year old goes for lol

Selling the kids, lol.... I think hypno looked into that at one stage! Bummer about the extra debt, but as you say, its not brushed under the carpet any more, so its bound to feel better. I'm just in the middle of re-arranging mystery shops over the next 2 weeks, trying to do two at once to keep the travel costs (and time!) down, quite pleased with what I've done. Have a good day.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Well now I have the details of that last debt I have sat down and worked out my true total amount of debt including my two loans. I have it all down in a spreadsheet now so I can see the figures dropping each month.
The amount is.................£15557.78  . I know compared to some on here it's not huge but to me it seems so much.
So today is a little bit of a new start for me in that I now know the exact extent of my debt, there should be no more surprised, this is bottom line.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Once you know exactly what you are dealing with, you can deal with it. Now you know what you owe, you can crack on.
Forget selling kids though - the market has dried up since the onset of the credit crunch.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I feel a mixture of  at the amount but also
as I have nothing to show for it really but also
because that's it now that figure won't go up.
I was hoping she would at least clear the odd £7.78 :rotfl:Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Well not a good time at the moment in the doodle household.
Hubbys car is knackered and the repairs are going to cost us £350  this being the cheapest of 3 quotes we have got and my daughters school fees are due which I am ashamed to say I had forgotton about
Anyway the result is this will leave us seriously short this month. Now normally in pre LBM moments I would go to my parents and ask for the money. Now I am a big DFW girl I know this is not the way to go, I am fortunate my parents are able to help out and I know they will always be there if we ever needed them but why should they bail me out all the time. I'm a grown women with responsibilities and should be able to sort this out.
So Doodle needs a plan of action to get money flowing in quickly this month. So my options are ebaying everything I can find (already found quite a bit) and STP til my ears bleed.
Ok both of these aren't the most pleasant things to do in your spare time but they do result in fairly quick cash flow :T
So thats my challenge this month. Will she do it................Yes she will lol
On a positive note hubby has been signed back to work, unfortunately he has to be on light duties but still it gets him out of my hair lolProud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712
