Hi everyone

very clean Wol and Smashed here..having had to wait almost 48 hours for a shower.....pheeeeeeaaaaghhhhh.......plumber couldn;t fix the hot water quick enough this afternoon:D

Just logged onto the thread and really touched to read all your good wishes....thank you very much everyone xxxxxx

Well, it's organised chaos here...and Smashed has been brilliant......she saved the life of one of the removal men today :A who took all the paint of the new dado rail to try and prove he was so macho :mad: (good job I couldn;t find where I'd packed the axe )

Anyway hopefully will have internet connection tomorrow so normal service will be resumed.

Weeek weeeek.....piggies say thanks everyone and glad they didn;t have to share their carriers with a load of Numpty's kittens!!

Off to bed soon

Glad the move went well despite the removal man's efforts. Glad you couldn't find the axe - blood is so difficult to get out of the carpet and if it soaks into the floorboards then forget it:eek:

Glad that you had help from Smashed too and that you didnt get too tiddly in the pub.

Just a quick post tonight as I am a "tad tired" so will try and catch up and reply over the next few days. I have to be back at the rented house tomorrow morning before 9am to meet the window cleaner so need to be up early tomorrow.

First things first however.....Thank you, thank you Smashedbooboo...what an absolute angel you are....:A ...your help, support and friendship has been invaluable over the last few days. ...and we had a right laugh in the process!! :T . Can't describe to you peeps just how brilliant she is..such a breath of fresh air........just gets stuck in and doesn't even complain when the hot water doesn;t work . (Still, at least she got a shower before she returned home!!). So if you're moving in the future peeps...I can definitely recommend that you book her!! (But keep your shoes padlocked :rotfl: ).......

Oh and Smashed...have I told you I'm so glad you're my friend ......xxxxxxxxxx

Loved your post Poor and thanks for the text......just thought you might like to know that Boo survived the Irish coffees ....I'll leave you to make of that what you will!! :rotfl:).

Also have to say to all of you how much your posts on the thread have lifted me up over the last couple of days. Thank you so much. Still a bit dazed about the last few days....but starting to reclaim the house and make it feel once more like home. I mowed all the lawns today (well actually they were just moss and dandelions!!) and cleaned out the piggies.....and it really felt like being back home......but then went back in the house and :eek: ......realised what a lot of work there is to do as boxes are covering almost every square inch of floor!!

Still, as long as I don;t set myself too many tasks to do in one day I should be fine. The hand is very sore..but the tendons are still intact!!!..hopefully the exercise it's had over the last few days will have been good for it, even if it doesn't feel that way at the moment!! I need to try and get back to see the GP romorrow to get referred to my local hospital to continue the ultrasound this week is poss. (I have a letter form the lady who has been treating me down in Farnham).

Busy week this week, working with clients 3 days and the other two am either at my house or the rented house sorting things out with various tradespeople. (Hopefully by wednesday evening I might have a working oven and be able to open my fridge door properly)..so will not get much chance to do any unpacking this week..or post much..maybe i will relate one funny anecdote each night :cool: ...and I still haven't even got any curtains up yet!!! :eek: :cool: ....

Right peeps, off to bed now as have been up since 7am and a very busy bee. (Will hide in a cupboard while undressing to spare the neighbours blushes ) .
