    Wot!! No bikini?????

When my sister took my mum to Rome many years back, they both carried large bottles of mineral water in order to hit anyone who happened to "rub themselves up against them" while in buses/trams etc. (She told me a digsuting story once about a woman in a black skirt getting off a bus after an alleged incident..which became clearly visible against the skirt as she turned round :rotfl: ........So as they say in Hithchikers Guide....be a cool frood who knows where your [strike]towel[/strike] water bottle is :D

    xxx

The bikini is what the [STRIKE]credit card[/STRIKE] currency is for, that and lovely prosecco and bresaola and other such loveliness

Urgh - nasty man. I will carry a bottle of water but only to clobber the OH with when he gets on my nerves.

Hi Wol ... don't often drop in here - but kept a mental note that the 15th was moving day, so may I simply say "all the best for tomorrow."

It will be a day of many things, many thoughts, many and probably very mixed feelings - so take care. Life is full of change, sometimes good, sometimes bad, and which they turn out to be long term is largely down to our attitude - so see this change as a positive - and it will be!!!

Speak again when you have settled in!!

    Hi MF

Yep..being positive. Was a big step to leave what has become my "cave" down in Surrey...but now I've been back a few days, it's starting to feel like I've not been away (well apart from all the boxes everywhere of course :rotfl: )

After all this really is a line drawn under the last 47 years.......in every sense.......so I just need to give myself time and space to decide where i want to go, what I want to do, who I want to be and how I'm going to get there.......oh and stop beating myself up and working 24/7 with no time left to actually enjoy what I've got

Speak after the bank holiday....but if I have time will send you PM with some interesting info on it (public sector tender)

Hugs to you and hope all OK way up there!!

Hee hee......mine are the same.....and when all 15 of them are going at once...you need ear plugs...I'm scared they'll wake the neighbours when I go out late at night to tuck them up :o . When I had them indoors last year in the rented house over the cold weather, just the opening of the fridge door was enough to set them off...and the rustle of a plastic bag when i came in with the weekly shop.....well all hell used to break loose!! It's great having interactive piggies..usually it's the boys that are more talkative.....like Beechey boy (himwotdunit) and Charlie......but my worst (well loud, endearing and manipulative) are the two fat mamma females Muffin and her daughter Pebble.
