Hello Gemmzie Hun
Psychic.....just seen your last post and would include it if I knew how to "double quote"
Have to say, categorically YES....if you have a good counsellor...and I have been blessed with mine as she has been very very good...it really really is worth it (I have had some counselling way back in past....was a mixed bag, one good, rest rather bad so a bit like roulette).
The one I'm with now has also provided referrals for friends of mine throughout the country so if anyone wants to find a counsellor just PM me.
We've got that dodgy arm bond
Hmm it's something I think I'm going to have to give another go, but really hoping for a referral as I'm completely skint. I had to see one before but she was terrible, it wasn't necessary but it put me off going if I did need it.Ref the arm...well will post about that as an update later. Let's just say better than two weeks ago but not as good as one week ago
Hugs to you Hun...are able to go to Leeds meet?

Phew!! evening everyone
Well, I've finished replying to all you lovely posters (thank you so much for taking the time and care to post, I really do appreciate it and it is great support for me)....so I guess now it's time for an update.
Housewise: move is still scheduled for 15th August :T :T ....but they are trying to make it really complicated by moving me over two days(personally I think they are just trying to rip the insurance company off for more money. ......which there isn't because the pot of money available my for relocation costs is well and truly "spent".... so I will be ringing the removals company tomorrow to kick backsides. ..
Note bene..it is common for the insurance company's nominated agents to charge far more than justified for the actual services rendered..and the insurance company will only allow you a certain pot of money towards relocation costs including removals/rent etc for the duration of the claim (read your terms and conditions carefully peeps! I was lucky and had £26,000 pot...but it is well and truly SPENT   ages ago and luckily because house flooded again and I had to make a new claim, my pot was topped up) .
Therefore, knowing this, I have always taken a lot of steps to mitigate the insurance companies costs on their behalf (and on behalf of my "pot" throughout the last year).
The builders vanished over a week ago and haven't been back since. I was starting to get rather worried as the kitchen was not fit for purpose and the snagg(l)ing list (two days work..sorry Snags!!) ) was still outstanding. However a choice email from my sis monday evening to the surveyor (who had just informed us he is now on holiday until after I move back   ) about penalty clauses/lack of diligence etc seems to have galvanised everyone into action today. Builders back on site today and I am returning to the house next monday for a handover inspection by which time all snagging should be complete. (:rotfl: :rotfl: ...yeah and pigs might fly...with apologies to you Piglet my love;) )
The small amount of furniture that could be reclaimed from the flood (including a lovely welsh dresser and a dining room table/chairs all in mahogany) has now been returned fully restored..by the most gorgeous (yum yum!!!) brown eyed man with lovely personality.....who unfortunately is married.....que sera sera......and I have to say they have made a brilliant job of the restoration and it all looks brand new.
The packing is proceeding albeit slowly...but is still getting there. Will probably mean a lot of "stuffing stuff in boxes in mad panic" on the day....but that will be the essential stuff...
(you know kettle, booze, glasses, more booze, mugs, even more booze, tea/booze etc) ...as the rest will hopefully have all been packed by then. Still need to get hold of another 3 pet carriers (need 9 in total...will put wanted on freecycle later this week) to ensure all piggies have comfortable journey round the M25 in my and friends cars on the move day and are OK to stay cooped up until their cages arrive in the van...with NO fighting..... as I don;t want any more accidents  .
PS Snags...I promise I won;t wash their bottoms beforehand:rotfl:
Finally then (on NO!!! sorry Numpty....I've done it AGAIN...help me out HUn
please :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )
The "Hand" (or perhaps "Thing" would be more appropriate)
Well it really is a bit like Angel flowers thread..a roller coaster. I mowed the lawns at the house on saturday and caused a bit of inflammation...and because I forgot to do the actual massage on the sunday, I have suffered the last few days with far more restricted movement, lots more pain and this despite lots of bashing with the massage cream and ultrasound sessions at the hospital. To be honest peeps it's not really progressing as it should be (and in fact last ultrasound treatment with different physiotherapist owing to holiday, they did say ...oooh you have really bad adhesions ...). Hmmmm
Well it's worse this week than last week, less flexible, very stiff, very painful.....and doesn't seem to be making any progress. Each morning (after I've been asleep) it's back to square one being almost immobile until I sit in the bath for half an hour flexing it and then start doing the hot and cold water plunges. Once it's mobile I need to keep it constantly exercised with the sponges otherwise (even if I'm on the computer for an hour) it completely siezes up again. So rather demotivating...will give it another week and then once I've moved house will seek second opinion.
OK peeps will stop now, but need to address future of this thread with you all (and especially you lovely Piglet as you are originator of such a wonderful gift to me )
Perhaps do this to tie in with my move next friday as conscious of how much time available for all of us to post on both each others threads and on newbies threads especially when regulars depleted owing to holiday...and loads of newbies have appeared suddenly.
Please don;t get me wrong peeps...without this thread and your contributions to it, I would have been lost..I have really valued and appreciated the time you have all taken to post and encourage me......:A :A ..but perhaps I am now found..YOU lovely peeps ARE the reason I feel I have a future to look forward to..and perhaps it is time now to consider diverting our wonderful "diamond" resources to others.
Hugs to all
Love

You are a superstar, going through a difficult time and still worrying and caring about newbies.
Sorry to hear about the stiffness. I am utterly convinced that the weather effects mine you know, any time it's thundery, I'm stiff as heck (ooer) and if it's raining it aches. Might just be that it rains lots and aches lots thoughNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

No Hun..it's the 6th (although I will be up on 5th)
Ref referral....know what you mean about being put off.
Ref: £££....difficult as I have had to pay filthy lucre to mine.....BUT, don;t despair, she is very understanding (savvy!!) and knows how to work the system. PM me with your requirements....after all, if you don't ask, you don't get!!! (Worth a try don't you think?) Let's see what we can all do.
