    Hi wol :hello:

Nearly ready for the move then? Bet you're very busy at the moment! Hope so and that the arm is on the mend :)

I've bought a wedding dress off of ebay-its the one I always wanted, but there were no stockists down here. Just need to find someone to make it fit properly :rotfl: On a related topic, the diet/gym is beginning to work at last! Told my dad (eventually :o) and I could tell he wasn't exactly thrilled-I think he's scared of flying or something... He kept muttering about hurricane season!

OH is home again-he has 3 weeks summer leave then he's spending 4 weeks working at the local careers office, so I have him home for seven weeks :D Tonight we're off to some hotel somewhere as a treat for me, as he's been away all week working in Torquay with his step dad doing kitchen fitting. I'm excited!

I'm sure I have plenty more to tell you, but I feel wiped out at the moment and my memory is shot to pieces... I've been to the doctor and am having blood tests on Thursday, as I've felt this way for a while. Fingers crossed its nothing bad though.

I'll ring you at some point soon, I promise :)

    Hi peeps

Just interrupting major packing session to log on prior to feeding piggies and checking on Grommie again.

Well the news is that there's nothing wrong with his teeth that the vet can see. However it doesn;t explain the weight loss or the sudden dehydration. And after the vet examined his teeth, and i picked him up to cuddle him, he had a sudden nosebleed in the surgery. Guinea pigs very very rarely have spontaneous nose bleeds and if they do, it normally signifies something serious.....at the moment the money is on either a tumour near his sinuses (can't fix that..may have to make nasty decision) or heart problems.(can medicate for this) ..so he is going in for X ray on tuesday.

But....he's eating stacks and drinking from a bowl (Not from the water bottle) , doesn't appear to be in pain and is maintaining his current body weight but worryingly is not putting any on (he is currently about 15% under his normal bodyweight). So I need to be very vigilant as piggies when they go, go very very quickly and often with little warning. Will be bringing him in tonight as weather is carp..and I need to keep an eye in him as well as giving him two doses of antibiotics per day.

I really hope he makes it back to my house as I'd really hate him to go before the move date next friday........so in the meantime lots of cuddles for him...and trying to be realistic about situation.....after all he is over four and a half years old..so he really is starting to be old man Grommie.

Anyhow off to run the gauntlet of slugs that suddenly populate the lawn here when it rains (Yeeeuuch!!) and sort Grommie and the rest of piggies out. Back later and will reply to your posts. Nice to see you ym and congrats on your new arrival (Wol goes all gooey!!)

    Gemmzie...will PM you later Hun.

    Hugs to all
