And Girls, here¡¯s a thought!
Why not start the trend of selflessly donating your expensive dresses to brides who can¡¯t have the means to purchase or trash them?
Now that would be paying it forward or is that a unconditionally untrendy opportunity of thinking?
Suitable Karma to y¡¯all
errr...what????There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
I had a similar experience with them at the kilmarnock branch, where they claim all sorts of promises and guarantees. We seen a car we wanted(corsa 1 litre) but it was not available at that branch as it was at another garage branch, but we were assured it was in first class condition and also was in the lower road tax bracket which was a unexpected extra.(it was not in the lower road tax bracket, a mistake from the salesman) we done the usal haggling on price and trade in etc, and were told about the price included GAP insurance, service plan etc etc,(then we were told the advertised price was wrong, another mistake from the salesman) I explained that I too was also in sales (but thankfully not selling cars)and wanted the basic price, without any of the add ons that they insisted they would/could not sell the car without as it was normal practice. I then informed them I was leaving, and suddenly they would just this one time bend the rules. But the part ex value had suddenly dropped in value, so once again i'm for the off, but we eventually agreed price to change cars, subject to the car being viewed by me later that week.
I viewed the car later that week , and highlighted various scratches and a small dent (nothing to bad but not in first class condition as described)it was reluctantly agreed they would sort these, and then we would buy the car, we left a £200 deposit to secure the car. they were never off the phone for the next 4 days to say the car was ready and to come in to pick it up and conclude the sale, as we live 60 miles away this was not convienent.we noticed when we picked the car up there was no service book or manual or spare key, and were assured they were probably at the original garage and they would get them sent on. nothing came, and on calling the garage after 2 weeks we were told they did not have them, I asked for a new manual and service book along with a spare key, as this is a vauxhall dealership and was told this would cost me £100 for the manual and service book, and we did not need a spare key, ( as these things are expensive)I refused and insisted on them honouring their promise, which they agreed eventually. what did we get, a print out from the internet of 100 or 200 pages of the manual, and when i phoned to complain that this would not fit into the glove box, i was asked what i wanted to keep it in the car for?the key was not supplied as we did not raise it at the point of purchase, so tough luck, after this they could not be contacted on the phone as they were always "with a customer2 or had just popped out, So if you want a low cost car, use them for this alone but do not expect an ounce of after service .would not recommend them to anyone.0
