Sorry if I come across as edgy, but I am worried sick and I do appreciate the time taken on here ot post any help

I can understand your frustration because you have come on here for Benefit advice (which some people have given), but you have also received the tired old suggestion of Agency Work and unwanted advice about your children. I am afraid we get this alot and it is not personal to you.

Have just had a wee thought regarding your husband.

You say he has been not been working and that he has this terrible depressive illness which must be a huge strain. I also see you say you both worked in the prisons. Was he a prison officer or had contact with the 'clients'. Am just wondering if the 2 are connected and if he would be able to claim some kind of redress through his employers (pensioned off due to ill health or compo for stress and distress)?

I wish you and hubby all the best. I have 2 sick parents and I know how distressing it is for me when I go and visit them. **hugs** x

I wish I understood the way the benefit system woks,as I don't I'm no help. I can't understand the way it works-I have 3 kids (1 adult and three kids therefore) and although I don't get HB as I have a mortgage (no help there) I seem to be getting a lot more help than you-is that because we have 3 children? I expect mine will drop a fair bit soon as my 17 year old is hoping to go to Uni in sept. Have no idea how I will manage then-just praying I can get back to work before then as I am lucky to be well.
I really hope things improve for you Michele.

I'm sorry, can you tell me where I said that you did?

    Where was the criticism?
    Go jump off a bridge.

    Conor,

Michele read your original post, before you edited out the nasty bits.

Your comment highlighted above is absolutely out of order. You owe Michele an apology.
    Gone ... or have I?

Called the HB and they had my hubby down as still working!!!

Also we are able to claim for IS as a top up, so this is a HUGE relief

I would like to thank all that helped me understand a bit more

and to those two who patronised me, you should try living with a personality disorder when you feel like everything is against you

I came on here for some help to some answers and you put me down, I guess you must live such miserable lives that you have to put others down in order to make yourself feel better, this is bullying something that is not acceptable in this day and age and you should be totally ashamed of yourself

Nice of you to edit your messages out after you tell me to jump off a bridge, what a lovely human being you are, bet your family are SO proud!!
