Our tooth fairy even paid a pound for the tooth that ds swallowed after she read the note and left one in return suggesting that he be more careful next time.0

My husband hit my 7yr old in the face with a ball yesterday and knocked out his wobbly tooth:eek: - he got £2 for that one!
p.s. it was an accident!0 -
We have little wooden tooth shaped boxes in which only fit a £1 coin. The little ones are happy with that but insist in a personalised letter (mum writes this with a magnifying glass!!) Teens now look down on getting tooth fairy money, which is just as well as there are still plenty baby teeth to come from them.

Ours aren't quite at that stage yet, but I'd say £1 was plenty.
When we were kids we used to get 10p for a tooth. But if the tooth fairy forgot we'd get 20p the next night. If she forgot gain it would be 30p, etc.
I think with hindsight it turned into a game. We'd be well chuffed if they forgot as it meant more money. But I bet they forgot on purpose because we wanted them to.
I often wrote letters. Have still got them (with some teeth) somewhere. One starts "Dear tooth fairy (mum and dad, really)..."0 -
My nine-year-old daughter still gets £1 per tooth.0

My kids get £1 for small front teeth and £2 for a back tooth. Even when I flushed it down the sink my daughter still had the tooth fairy visit in the night!! These tooth fairies are fab - even arriving in the morning before school as she had been soooo busy the night before!! I must be more careful and remember better next time!0

My youngest lost her first on this week!
Our rate is £1 for the first one and 50p per tooth after that.0 -
A simple way to make the gift better, write a note from the toothfairy thanking the child for the tooth! I used to think this was amazing!0

Glitter on the windowsill to show the fairy has been!
DD had to have a filling last week and our tooth fairy has already told us that the tooth concerned is worth nothing- In car terms it's a lemon so that's what it will be rewarded with.
She is very generous though and usually leaves £1.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
