DS1 has his first wobbly tooth ... he is very excited about the fact that the Tooth Fairy is going to visit and leave him, wait for it, £1.50!!!!
Is that really the going rate? Unfortunately he is a very savvy 6 year old and he knows his coins! Apparently £1.50 is the going rate.
I remember getting 10p and being over the moon! And I'm not that ancient!

I got £5 for each of my teeth and that was about 15 years ago. However, I was told the tooth fairy doesn't visit after the 4th tooth, as shes a very busy fairy and mum and dad would like them instead  Competition Challenge 2007 - Win your internet fees back in prizes = £349.87/£1560 -
I think a £1 is fair. Still waiting for DS to lose his first and he is 7 in July??LBM-29/08/07

£1.50 for the firs tooth with a note from the fairy saying that the 1st one is special, after that it's £1 (or whatever you choose) per tooth! I do remember that I got more for back teeth than front ones.
