I bought some:o
Read about the next sale, so went on the website & got a pair of those Sasari Croc wedges for £15.
Then bought a £35 pair of pink Croc Mammoths as slippers:o
Your fault Jeannie.
I might get the Cyprus ones too in red, I LOVE red shoes:drool:
But I'm trying to prepare myself for the freezing work conditions..... I saw mammoths on Amazon for 19.99 - went to order them, out of stock
Trying to keep my costs down.....
I'm soon off out for the day so no more seaching for today!!!
If anyone knows where I can get mammoths from for a good price - let me know!
Cheers.. I've already looked on Jelly something and Rubbersoles.Genie

Not going out now... don't whats wrong with me, but feel like someone has pulled the plug out. So drained and emotional for some odd reason.
ANYway.... Took me quite a few sites to find any mammoths in my size! Why are they so scarce?? I only take a size 5.
I went mad and ordered some Rocket dog boots too.. dunno who rocket dog are but I liked the boots...
And ordered some caymans for my sister to try - its her birthday soon, she may not thank me.Crocs are an aquired taste
MrsE - are your mammoths comfy?
I read somewhere about wearing 'inserts' with them. Anyone know what these are?Genie

I think if you are a UK 5 then you are a Crocs W7 (according to Consultants post above).
Rocket Dog are quite young & trendy;)
I asked for them my mammoths to be delivered on Thursday, they same day as my superdupa new bed:j
Don't know about any insets, they are sheepskin lined anyway, thats why I thought they would make fab slippers.0 -

But there was an article in The Telegraph about crocs being worn by the middle classes....... and photos of loads of celebs (not tramp like ones) wearing them - including the mammoths (but not in pink tho).
I'm not sure when they became 'chav' - perhaps when all the cheap copies came out. Plastic replicas..Genie

Ooh yes, they're loooovely!
I have the black/black ones and I'm glad that's what I bought. The woolly linings (inserts) in the other colours are cream and will get dirty very quickly I would think.
Crocs say the inserts can be taken out for washing, but I've not found that easy at all. I ended up chucking the whole thing in the washer (30 degrees) and then pulling the inner inside-out to dry.
There's a link to a price comparison website for Crocs somewhere. I'll have a look and post it if I can find it.
Here it is: http://www.alltheshoes.co.uk/I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
