Well, I shall have a look when we are in the USA and see if 'the real deal' fits my feet. But I think I've tried the real thing over here, and just not found 'my' size. My feet don't get sweaty in them, and they weren't cheap cheap, IYSWIM.Signature removed for peace of mind0

My third toe on left foot is not bothered by them at all now. I must confess that due to son, only wore crocs out once and that was when went walking on beach and around the sea caves - they were great cos I could go over rough ground, pebbles, sand, in and out of the sea with them on. Although did slip a bit on some rocks - but then so did everyone else.
I wore them all around the villa, when I was in and out of the pool (very necessary as v hot), great to put on when feet wet and ground boiling. I've not put them on since been back, they have gone an odd shape from being squashed in the suitcase and am hoping they will still be comfy!
Having seen posts above for the Ugg sandals- tempting, but am broke now...
What do mammoths look like?? They could be the answer for me at work in the winter when am clambering around in the workshop - but ok for the office to? Are they warm, cos does tend to get draughty in the office too.
Not want to think about winter. What is all this stuff that has been leaking from the sky? I've not been used to it over the past couple of weeks.....
It's good that they got comfy and moulded around that toe jeannie, but not so good that they moulded around something else in your suitcaseDo hope they straighten out.
I still haven't got any. Was going to go for the mary janes but can't find the colour I want in a size 6. I did hope that someone might give some feedback on the style as well but, so far, not a dickie bird.
How was Paphos? Hope you had a great time. We're off in another month. Can't wait!!0 -

Mine were in the sun alot whilst I was in the pool - I'd then get out (reluctantly) and slip them on. Reason i state this is, because someone previously said about heating them and getting them to mould to you own foot/feet. Also, sorry but can't remember who, someone said about when you first get them, wear them with socks on around the house while your feet mould to them. I can see where they are coming from...
Mine have warped from being squashed in suitcase in cold hold on the way home so may need to leave them somewhere hot, which is not easy in this country.
Can't say how great they were for hols, in and out of water, across rocks, sand and pebbles etc.
I can see why they are ideal for little ones. Can't see how the cheap plastic ones are healthy for the feet tho....Genuine Crocs are made of resin. Much better and not sweaty.

I've just ordered some more cayman crocs MrsE!!! Turquoise this time - PLUS - some er, other ones not cayman - but flippy flop type ones.
I've ordered with Amazon again - cos they seemed the best priced ones - in this country anyway..........
I could live in these things - forever......... comfy feet, a sign of old age no doubt... just as well that I have a mind of a 16 year old... or possibly younger.Genie

I tried to get those wedgie ones, sassari or whatever.
But the website wasn't working. I must try it again.0 -
Mmm. I'm going to Cyprus in August. Can't wait. I'm looking for some crocs - the cheap copy type. The ones I've tried so far have rubbed against my third toe because of the angle at the front. Perhaps I should try bigger ones but will I then be tripping over :rotfl:
Anyone else had this problem?
Yes I have, when I try the 5 my toe rubs and the 6 is too big. My friend wears them and she says they are so comfy.0 -

Crocs are supposed to be big. The only part of your foot which should touch the Croc is the sole.
Treliac - the 'cheap, copy' Crocs may well rub (and make your feet sweaty) as they are usually made of plastic, not the lightweight antimicrobial resin that Crocs are made from.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Crocs are fantastic!! The only sandals that come near them for comfort are flyflots but now I have found crocs I wear them all the time. My daughter loves them too.0

My hubby only used to wear Birkenstocks in summer now he only wears Crocs. Hes 61. He wants the fluffy ones for winter now! He keeps trying to get me in them but like you I only wear Fly-flots or Scholl. May have to try them if you all think so highly.0
