Crocs - good for you?

I'm thinking of buying some crocs... :D

I've read all the hype about them and thought they may be a good idea for walking around on holiday (if I go....) and they are said to improve circulation etc.

Who's got them and do you like them??

But your feet must sweat so bad in plastic?

    How could they not?

MrsE you are such a spoil sport!!!

I'm at an age where I don't give a doodah. Plus I thought I'd get some in shocking pink... :D hehe

Chatty - thanks for that! (MrsE prob dresses like Hyacinth Bucket :D )
I've also seen Mary Jane ones as well which thought could to wear for work, they do them in black so would blend in well with the grease and muck in the workshop (I work in a garage for those not in the know - in the office, but I have to get out there with the men at times ;) ) .

Visualise it MrsE, Cyprus, white cut offs, big pink feet :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Not sure about the fake crocs but I think the real ones are made of some sort of resin, my feet sweat less in these than regular sandals, they mould to your feet making them exceptionally comfortable. I have probs with my knees but can walk all day in my crocs...

I'll have you know I have a pair of per una boot cut jeans on & a chocolate brown tunic (not a baggy one, just loosely fitted) which has a very pretty neckline with a large flat shell type disc in it.

    When you off to Cyprus?
We're off to Sharm, Sunday week :-)

I've read that they are good for circulation, help if you have osteoarthritis (don't have it yet..) have anti fungal properties etc etc.

I could wear mine with shin high socks - just so that the Cypriots will be doubly sure I'm a Brit on holiday :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • No probs with sweaty feet.......They're full of holes!!

    The shoes that is....

    Heheee

I don't have 'slippers' anymore...I have a pair of crocs for indoors too!

I haven't tried any of the new designs yet...remind me of the 'jelly' shoes from the 80's.....Might give em a go though!

Mmm. I'm going to Cyprus in August. Can't wait. I'm looking for some crocs - the cheap copy type. The ones I've tried so far have rubbed against my third toe because of the angle at the front. Perhaps I should try bigger ones but will I then be tripping over :rotfl:

    Anyone else had this problem?
