Are there actually any good Tesco deals left? Everything on there seems to be holidays, going out, doing stuff whilst out, eating out etc. The only thing that seems to be a "discount off a purchase" is the jewellery section where there is still the caveat that you have to spend £200.

It seems that gone are the MFI days where they vouchers were useful to spend on stuff at home. Most of the deals seems to be those that you can get good discounts elsewhere with. I'm just surprised they don't have a tie up like Nectar do with Argos.

Anyone know if this will change in the future, or is it just worth spending them on money off a Tesco shop?

I agree with you, have been saving up my vouchers for two years, some due to run out in May, and I don't know what to spend them on. Always spent them in MFI, had some good buys. They need more of a choice, even if they gave you four times the value at Tesco Direct..

    Hi
We have been saving tesco vouchers for a few years now thinking of using them towards a holiday - unsure of what is involved when you use vouchers for a holiday. We also have some virgin vouchers just wondered if anyone knew if we could use both lots of vouchers towards a virgin holiday.

Would others recommend using the vouchers for a holiday - any drawbacks or problems we might encounter? Would be grateful for any help/advise
    thanks

I was thinking of using my vouchers towards a holiday in this country but they all seem expensive compared with deals you can get out of the paper etc. What do others think? I have about £85 worth of vouchers so far.

Just a note, incase you never knew this...... but when you use ClubCard Deals to buy a holiday, you will not be eligible for any discount that the company may be offering (eg online sale etc)
With Vouchers, you will have to pay the full price. If there was a weekend break for £399, reduced to £249 for example- you would still have to pay the full price of £399 in CC Vouchers. HTH x

That's what I was thinking. And why it seems an expensive way of getting a holiday. I really don't know whether to just use the vouchers for shopping in Tesco now, as there doesn't seem to be a lot else that I would use them for but it seems a shame when I have been saving them up. I hope to have £100 when this months mailing comes. That's £400 in deals.

I did exactly the same thing when you could still use the Deals in MFI. I had saved up £210 in vouchers (£840 in deals) only to find out that they had stopped doing it the previous week! I then thought about using them for a holiday, but again- I was going to have to pay full price, where I could get it cheaper for cash.

Maybe you could use some of them for magazine subscriptions? Or maybe jewellery, or dry cleaning?

Hope you find something you fancy, because as you say- it's a shame waste 4 x their value. The deals are quite disappointing at the moment though. There was a post previously suggesting a Nectar Card Scheme, which I think is a fab idea!
