Tesco Clubcard/Vouchers/Points/Deals - Post All Questions Here

It happens quite alot! What they normally say is that if you pay with your vouchers you have to pay full price and no discounts can be applied, hence often you will pay a higher price than if you are paying cash. Is the £34.99 price an offer or sale price?
The cash price isn't an offer, they have two prices off peak and anytime.
The £34.99 is off peak, anytime is £39.99.
It is the fact that you can use the vouchers as part payment and you could still end up paying the same or more as the cash price AND using up vouchers.0 -
Hi everyone!
I have saved up me CC Vouchers for a while so that I can exchange them for some magazine subscriptions- but before I do it, I was wondering if anyone could answer my question first please?
You see, the magazines I usually buy (Mother&Baby, Prima Baby etc) usually offer a free gift when you take out a subscription with them- sometimes as valuable as the subscription itself. But does anyone know if I would still be eligible for these free gifts when paying through CC Deals, or would it just be the magazines on their own?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you :-)
Hi
I subscribed to two mags last year She and Prima through Tescos and I didn't get any free gifts either with subscription or when the monthly mags came out, can't really complain as it works out really cheap with clubcard vouchers, even bought some for gifts for others.
Hope that helps.

Hello all and happy new year.
I would like to use my vouchers for a weekend away but unsure how to go about it. Do I contact the hotel, letting them know I have Tesco vouchers. Will they confirm the price and then I 'exchange' my cc vouchers to the value quoted? How do I then pay the hotel? What if they charge me more than first quoted?
Thanks all.
Hi
We have booked a couple of weekends away with clubcard vouchers, usually you book direct with the hotel the telephone numbers are usually on your vouchers when they arrive and you inform them you are paying with cc vouchers or part cc vouchers. We've been to Bath and went to longleat safari park (paid with cc vouchers), been to disney paris, been to Chester, off to Majorca with parents this year, clubbed vouchers together and paid for two weeks in villa almost (not inc flights).
SO ENJOY!0 -
Thanks Andi - I've never changed my club card vouchers into deal vouchers yet. Do not want to exchange too many and lose out.Thank you all who post.0

If you look at the magazines forum, it tells you which magazines do send out gifts with subscriptions. Glamour always did! :T0 -
Thanks Andi, your reply is much appreciated!
I will still get the subscriptions becuase, as you say- it works out far cheaper than the cover price if you were to buy them individually at a newsagents, and even cheaper again using CC vouchers.

I subscribed to Prima without the Tesco vouchers and if you subscribe to them, they don't post out gifts with your magazine. You have to send for them and pay the postage yourself!!!

Anything that saves money is worth it! I found it by accident, and if you are new to this site, there is a hell of a lot on the forums to read through!

I and a few relatives and friends have not received any vouchers for more than three months. So, I decided to call them up and find out what was going on, thinking they'd probably been nicked. They said mine had been issued but no problem they would simply carry them forward to the next issue.
Being naturally suspicious I am thinking Tesco are trying to slow the whole process down in these challenging times. After all, the Clubcard scheme must be a bit of an expensive millstone round their neck at the moment
Anyone else in the same boat?0 -

I last got mine in November so expecting the next lot in February. I have always got mine every quarter with no problems.
It is obviously an expense for them but the only reason I use Tescos is because of the vouchers which I think is the same for alot of people. If they stopped doing them I think they'd lose alot of business!0
