Tesco Clubcard/Vouchers/Points/Deals - Post All Questions Here

Hi, a little advice needed please.
We were due to go on holiday last Sunday but we all got the flu and could not travel.
We used tesco clubcard deals to pay for most of the holiday. We now have to make a claim on insurance. When I took out the insurance with Nationwide one of the first questions I asked them was do they cover Tesco cc vouchers. They said yes without hesitation.
Has anyone had to make an insurance claim involving clubcard vouchers, was there any issues I need to be aware of? Hopefully not but I have already had to call holiday company for a new cancellation invoice as first one only showed cash paid and made no mention on the vouchers. They had applied the vouchers as a discount so they did not show up.
Thanks in advane for any advice.0 -
Hi everyone!
I have saved up me CC Vouchers for a while so that I can exchange them for some magazine subscriptions- but before I do it, I was wondering if anyone could answer my question first please?
You see, the magazines I usually buy (Mother&Baby, Prima Baby etc) usually offer a free gift when you take out a subscription with them- sometimes as valuable as the subscription itself. But does anyone know if I would still be eligible for these free gifts when paying through CC Deals, or would it just be the magazines on their own?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you :-)0 -

Hi, I did a Prima Baby subscrition with Tesco vouchers and was disappointed to find I didn't get the gifts. Not sure if this is the same with the other subscriptions.0 -
Hello all and happy new year.
I would like to use my vouchers for a weekend away but unsure how to go about it. Do I contact the hotel, letting them know I have Tesco vouchers. Will they confirm the price and then I 'exchange' my cc vouchers to the value quoted? How do I then pay the hotel? What if they charge me more than first quoted?
Thanks all.Thank you all who post.0 -
I have some CC vouchers & want to put them towards a John Fowler holiday.
Does anyone know whether you go by the price quoted online or will they quote more expensive prices??
I have a brochure....should I go by those prices?0 -

When paying for holidays etc with CC vouchers you will normally pay full (brochure) price, no discounts I'm afraid. You normally have to book via the call centre so they will let you know what their policy is.0 -
I have some clubcard vouchers and want to spend them online for a couple of magazine subscriptions the total comes to less than the total of two of my vouchers, what happens to the balance of the unused part of one of the vouchers?0

The balance will be credited back to your clubcard account and added to your next lot of vouchers - HTH"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

I am new to using my points for deals, but after looking at the advice here about getting more for your points, I looked at activities and found one my children would love.
Tesco advises you to go to their site.
I looked at the price if you pay out of your own pocket and there is a link to go to if paying by vouchers, you can part pay with vouchers and top up with cash. I found that for something that would cost me £34.99 out of my own pocket would cost me £54.99 in deal vouchers, even if I only use £5 in vouchers, so in effect pay more out of my own pocket for using deal vouchers.
Is this normal that companies who participate have two tarriffs?0 -

It happens quite alot! What they normally say is that if you pay with your vouchers you have to pay full price and no discounts can be applied, hence often you will pay a higher price than if you are paying cash. Is the £34.99 price an offer or sale price?0
