    Hiya everyone question for you,
A mate of mine that used to live with me had some post delivered from tesco. she asked me to open it for her and its a 'money card'. She joined the xmas savers club years ago and never used all of her vouchers so they sent her the card for the value of the vouchers. It looks like a gift card but says 'money card' on the front. Obviously since then shes moved away and said rather than post it to her i to spend it on my little boy for xmas. Its for £10, the letter doesnt say anything about only her using it or that is has to be used within a certain time period. Do you think i'll be ok getting my little boy some bits n bobs with it?

There's no name on gift cards or money cards so you'll have no problem using it ;)

Any one know if the 50% off at la tasca can be used with Tesco vouchers?

We couldn't in the Durham branch but worth a try for you anyway.
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Am I wrong here- do tescos offer to change their clubcard vouchers so you can use them for clothes and homeware or electricals and give you double the amount?
Say if I had £10 in vouchers, it would be possible to change it over to £20 for clothes, homeware and electricals- am sure they used to do this- is it still on or did this offer change ages ago?

Yes I had a flyer wih my latest points mailing. Only for a limited time though -can't remember when you had to order the vouchers by (poss end nov) -but vouchers only valid till end jan I think.
  • Hi guys, One thing to ask, one thing to tell! Please don't shout if these have been posted before, this is a massive thread!

To tell, Spoke to Tesco wine deliveries on Sunday re wine double up vouchers, Tesco will not be doing these after 31/12/8. Boo!

To ask, I was shopping yesterday, spent £180 in store, guy rang a few things through twice,(when I only had one of each item) didn't add my green points for my bags, even though I reminded him twice, but most worrying of all I opened my frozen peas for tea last night and they were all discoloured and stuck together. I am positive they had been defrosted and refrozen-especially as I noticed a load of their freezers weren't working and had been emptied!

I also bought a load of frozen party food for Hogmanay and now I'm going to have to open it all to see if it looks ok! Question is do Tesco have any compensation? You know the way Asda give you £2 on a gift card for inconvenience? It's so annoying I'm going to have to go back (I only went to Tesco this week for the litre Baileys-which was sold out!) And also annoying I need to check all of my frozen stuff!

    Rant over, thank you!
I can't look into the future, but the futures where I'm walking to

Email customer services and ask, doesnt hurt to ask. I am sure you will at least get an exchange or refund if you took the goods in store as they are not fit for use. Email customer services and say how upset you are about it, they might give you extra clubcard points or something!

  • Hi, My first post so please forgive me if this is in the wrong place. I was listening to :money: Martin Lewis on Radio2 las week and he entioned you shouldn't spend the clubcard points voucher (the one the post you each quarter) directly in the shop. he went on to say you can get double or 4x (i can't remember if it was 2x or 4x) the value if you change it for a gift voucher in store and then you can go sraight back inthe store and do your grocery shopping but with a much higher value voucher. this sounds fab but i can't find anywhere on this site or Tesco's to explain how. any ideas anyone? i am well aware of the deals for alton towers, legoland, holidays etc, where you get 4x the value but Martin definatley said exchange for vouhers you can spend on tesco grocery shopping. thank you in advance for any replies and help. :j

I've never heard of this, but if you want to double-check exactly what Martin said, Radio 2 programmes are often available online for a week afterwards. Which day and time was he on?
  • Hi,

Does anyone know if you use Deals vouchers with Virgin Holidays - do you still get 10% off if using a Virgin Credit Card to pay for the balance?

No you have to pay the full price. You can have one offer or the other.
