  • Are Clubcard points still being given for old mobile phone recycling? Or is there any other way I can get value for these?

    Yes, Tesco:
    http://www.tescomobilerecycle.com/

    Or Boots:

  • That's good. Is there any limit on the number I can recycle? I've managed to accumulate 3 from the family over the last couple of years.

It is something like 4 a year - it is detailed in the small print.

Hi there not sure if this the right place to post....

Ive been saving our Tesco clubcard vouchers for a holiday(YEAH) with the chidren, we have 2 yrs worth. So Ive converted most of them to COSMOS vouchers. my problem being I checked the holiday out on line got the price etc, rung cosmos to ask a few question.

So they tell me our holiday would be full price, no discounts etc
After working it out, it would be cheeper for us to book holiday online or in store than with Clubcard vouchers!?

Does this seem right? Or have I missed something?
For instance: Holiday to Spain 2 weeks
    2 adults £299pp
    3 kids £320pp
    fule charge etc 289
    total price £2200
    online discount £729
    Total price £1471

So this is what I would pay I booked online £1471
If I book through Cosmos with Tesco clubcard I pay £2200

It doesnt make sence to me, unless I have complety missed something lol

These figures are made up just for instance.

    Thanks

No - even if you did charge it, it could have lost the charge by the time they test it. Don't worry!
ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away :)

Have discovered that it's 5 per year via store drop-off or unlimited via the tesco recycle website.

Yep Tesco clubcard points are not good value when converted into holidays such as Cosmos.

The same is true for Butlins, Haven holidays etc.

With clubcard deals you pay the full price - no discounts.

Effectively what you get is a 'deal' worth 2 times the face value of the points - if you see what I mean.

  • I phoned Tesco almost two weeks ago to get a voucher that was about to go out of date added back onto my account, they did this with no problems, just asked for the number which was on the voucher. What I am hoping someone can tell me is how long does it take for them to show up on my account.
