Has anyone ordered the Open University tokens before?

I would like to use vouchers collected with my clubcard and also my husband's clubcard to pay for a course for him. It says not transferable, obviously I'm fine if they just come with a surname and postcode but not if they have first names on them too. Does anyone know what is printed on them?

    Thanks very much

I seem to have mislaid a number of tesco vouchers in my house-move. I usually switch these for clubcard deals but cannot find them! Does anyone think they would be sympathetic in these circumstances? Do you think they can tell from their records which ones have not been redeemed? And, biggest question, will they replace them? If no-one has any experience of this problem I will just contact them but any advice appreciated! Thanks.

if you call them up they can tell which ones you have used and which havent. I was in the exact same position and they even credited a couple of out of date ones which I hadnt used - they can tell which vouchers you were sent and which ones you used and didnt.

Just call and ask for them to be credited back to your account.

I had the same problem last year - the vouchers are addressed to my husband and have his name printed on but when I sent off for the exchange voucher it only had the surname printed on it so it was fine. It worked out great for me as I had an ILA Scotland voucher for £500 and only had to make up the extra £120 for my course in clubcard vouchers!! ;)

    Hello Money Savers
    Happy Friday!

We have £1000 worth of tesco deals yet in the current credit crunch climate we cannot find a hotel who wants them
    £1000!!!! - unbelivable isnt it?

We are trying to book a new year break in gloucester and when i phoned ramada jarvis at bowden hall they said I could book for me and my wife and our daughter no problem for the friday and sat using the deals and we could pay seperatelty for the room fro new years eve. So with this in mind I duly converted £190 worth of deals to cover the fri and sat and got my credit card ready to pay for thurs 31/12.

But no after telephoning the Hotel direct I was told that I couldnt book as they had an allocation !!!!!! if they have mentioned this the week before I would have got them for another hotel chain

i can book a three night package for £400 ?? what??? kind of defeats the objective somewhat

    ARRRGGGGGGHHHH

    Ahem

Thistle cheltenham avail 31/12 but not 1/1 or 2/1

Barcelo fully booked others no kids only adults boo hoo

I cant believe Hotel's can afford to turn away upto £1000 worth of business in the current climate

I am a cheltenham racecourse member so will be staying at least 10 times in cheltenham over the next year thus far I am not impressed with the service or lack of it I have recieved.

    Dissapointed of Birkenhead

deals are always only going to be available for times of the year that are quiet, and christmas/newyear is a busy period. why would they want your booking worth £250 (tesco might call it £1k), when they could charge someone more than that cash - ie the £400 you have been quoted?

but who did you get your first quote from? you say you rang the ramada and was about to pay, but then the next thing you say is you rang the hotel direct a week later and they said the allocation was full - why did you call them twice, instead of just booking it the first time? most hotels keep a note of tesco enquiries, so they can fob you off that the quota has been reached - i would bet if you'd rang back within 10mins of your first enquiry it would miraculously be full
