HI, can somebody point me in the right direction please?

I've been collecting clubcard points for a lifetime and now when I've checked them some of them have expired (I didn't realise that they had a 2yr life).

Is there anything I can do? How do I appeal to their better nature and sweet talk them - is there any point in trying?

Any ideas would be good. We've been saving the vouchers so that we could book to go to disneyland paris with our 6 year old son. We can't afford it otherwise.

    Thanks Jan x
I don't think there's anything in particular you can do but you just need to ring them up and let them know what vouchers you have, when they expired and they might let you have some of them. Some people have had some joy but I think it all depends when they ran out of date. Good luck.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

I wrote to Tesco Customer Service for clubcard and explained that I hadn't been able to use my vouchers that i had exchanged for bowling vouchers, due to my SD not wanting to go, and they had expired 6 months ago. And due to having a new baby, mind not on things.

They happily took them back and gave me back the value of the vouchers.

So definitely worth writing and asking.

A couple of things I have done in the past.
High value point vouchers - exchange for the smallest value reward and balance of points is added back to your card to be re-issued as vouchers with next quarters.
Also I exchanged some for Alton Towers vouchers, didn't use them, rang Tesco and they said just return them and we will add your points back onto your card.

Is there somewhere I can find out what items give you bonus clubcard points. I keep finding out specific examples on here i.e. buying a hard back book gives you 200 extra points, but does anyone know where i can find a list of these or a site that has that information?

Thats what I thought- but apparently reading on here, others have been told by people working at Tesco that they are stopping the whole thing full stop, the reason being that now you get double points on everything and can spend it on anything.

Thats why I said; seems daft to pull the thing just before Xmas, if they have decided to pull it, they couldn't have chosen a worse time of year. May not stop everyone shopping at Tescos but does not leave a good taste in the mouth's of any new shoppers and to those who may have been let down, it may be enough to irritate them enough to switch supermarkets.

Err so the doubble up has stoped but your getting doubble points anyway same thing so whats everyone complaining about ok so next time I can;t doubble up but im getting doubble points anyway
  • If you want extra points bring your own carrier bags I do and get 30 extra points everytime 3 points for a large bag i know some people can't be botherd to bring there own bags but for the extra points why not.

And the extra points offers are diaplayed in store like buy a 12 pack of J2O and get 200 extra points the shelf endge lable tell you that so have a look out for them

We've been unable to use the double up £5 for 2 £5 delivery vouchers so gave them a ring and they gave us a £10 voucher for our next online spend :T

Hi all, not sure if this is the right place for this query, but here goes. Every year I save up my points for the Novemer mailing & I also save for Xmas using my club card. I have reached the max save limit again this year of £360 (I thinks thats daft, but thats another issue!) Last year when my vouchers came through they were in £60 denominations!!! I found this really difficult as after the innitial Xmas shop I only needed to top up my shopping for a few weeks & struggled to spend £60. I asked in store about it & they said that if I called the clubcard helpline they would be able to send through the vouchers in smaller amounts. I just called them & the lady wasn't very helpful & said "I understand what you are saying, but my hands are tied" So bacially I have to lump it!!! I have been all over the website, but can't get any help there either, so I guees want is to hear your comments & suggestions on this. Thanks.
