It might not come to that shadow....just warning you the OR has powers to seize thats not to say they would....you never know what an OR is thinkingWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

I think that the OR would look at the cost of looking after the dog more than the value of it.
Someone came on here ages ago who had a horse and i think the OR wanted her to get rid as the costs were high for its care. The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter0 -
Taken from the insolvency website regarding pedigrees
31.6.47 Pedigree pets
A bankrupt's pets are unlikely to have a value, unless they are pedigree animals. Even so, a pedigree pet is unlikely to be saleable unless it has been used recently by the bankrupt for breeding purposes, is of an impeccable pedigree e.g a recent winner of Crufts, or is of a rare or currently fashionable breed. If possible a valuation should be obtained .If it is apparent that the bankrupt was engaged in business as a breeder, the animals should be sold as an asset of the business. If necessary, specialist agents should be used. If the bankrupt claims an emotional attachment to the animals, it should be suggested that a member of the bankrupt's family or other third party purchase the animals. The costs of sale that would otherwise be incurred should be taken into account in assessing any such offer.
In the rare event that a company in liquidation owns pedigree animals, they should be sold, although the directors of the company may wish to purchase the animals.:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -

You'll presumably put things like pet insurance etc on your I&E so the OR would probably guess
From my post above it looks like it is very rare for the OR to actually be interested:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -

Thanks for that, she is a siberian husky, and she is not used for breeding at all. Siberian Husky Puppies go for about £500, I think and it hurts to even think about it, but she would be less than £300 due to being 2years old. But I dont see her as a monetary figure just my dog."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

But what if i didnt put pet insurance (which I dont have cos of cost, and its a rip off) or Pet food seperate to the normal shopping bill? Would it be ok to kinda be ignorant of the pet situation, and dont say anything unless asked?"Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. ok finished the budgeting stuff and after general living taken from both my partners and I income we have £107 left to pay creditors per month. Any suggestions on how that will addressed with the OR?"Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"
