Assetts, do I have to to a comprehensive list in minute detail for example I own about 30 DVD films, and I have an electric drill that cost £25 from BandQ? what about my PC its two years old and its sale value is about £100??
HO MY this is very complicated.
No you only need to list things with a reasonable resale value and do not need to list any essential household goods or furniture. Nothing you have mentioned above would be classed as an asset0 -
ok thanks, so my lcd tv that i have had for a year and cost £350 from ASDA doesnt need to go down?
So pretty much just list my car (which is £700 on parkers) but im hoping thats exempt because im on Disability Living Allowance and really need it to get about in.
TY sooooo much i appreciate the help."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

only list individual items worth £1000 or more, or bought recently on cards/plastic/hp etc.
cars, high end PC's, laptops, can all look good to the OR0 -
Well I have not bought anything since i got ill as I have not been dealing with the finances, my partner deals with everything my benefits are payed into her account, as i am/was housebound and was an easy solution as she payed all the bills, did shopping etc.
So dont list my car becasue its not over £1000, and my pc is far from High end lol..."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

You have to put your car down whatever the value (mine was £200)... there are two sections, one where you list assets and the other where it specifically asks about cars you own or have owed in the last 12 months, you have to list it in both these sections.:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0

Yeah i just saw that when i looded at the form, at the moment im just putting things onto a spreadsheet as the CCCS will need them for my interview, and a spreadsheet is a lot easier to read and more compact."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. Nope, none of those will be of any interest to the OR as resale value wouldn't be worth the collection fee etc.
They are really only interested if you have antiques, works of art, large (new) plasma tele's etc ... things that would fetch a high price.
Be Carefull the OR could show interest in pedigree pets and in theory claim as an asset as they could be high value which the OR is allowed to do......never seen it happen yet...although its no guaranteeWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
