Virgin Mobile saving the planet - but we have to pay for it!!!

For those of you on cash back I would say that for the sake of a quid you would be well advised to stick to paper billing until you have your cash back cheque in the bank!!0

It appears that they will be switching us automatically to online billing. We have to post them a paper form to opt in (not online - so much for saving the environment!).
Obviously for those on cashback schemes that will not accept on-line bills (like e2save for me) we're forced to pay the £12 per year.0 -
same here, but i left 14 months ago....now whos wasting paper ?SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0

I was with CPW , 6 month sim only deal, cash back at 4th month. No problems, cancelled my contract today, all sorted.
Fully sympathise with you all with regards to this. Typical arrogant behaviour by a large company, who of course are more interested in screwing a few more quid out of you than saving the planet. Good luck, dump em at the end of contract and tell them why!!!0 -
When I checked online mine was set to paper billing.
I had to opt for email billing or I would have continued to receive paper bills and be charged. Still not had the letter btw. Shoddy!

A little off topic, but it's like the pre-packed sandwich my local shop was selling a while back where the label stated "10p for every sandwich sold goes to Children in Need". Thing was this sandwich cost 10p more than all the others in the range!!!If this has been of any use please click on THANKS, it makes me look good.0

Just got my letter, which tells me I needn't do a thing as "from 11 July you'll automatically get your bill online as an e-bill, instead of by paper".Stompa0 -
Personally i think you should have to pay a levy for evry bill you get from all utilities and banks, to save paper and fuel - wont help the royal mail too much though. You all have the net!! With the cashback thing that is bad, do you have to send every bil off?? If not could you just pay a £1 for every 3rd bill or whatever it is?0

what if you have no internet access, im sure there must be some customers without it. Its another money making scam wrapped up in a pishy environmental ploy.0
