OMG! That makes me an oldie, too!!! I remember that stuff
- not sure it helped much with my teenage problem skin but I must have spent a fortune on it!!:D

This is all really interesting I haven't wanted to eat any weird stuff (I agree with whoever said it's a good diea to chat to your GP or midwife btw) but I've gone a bit mad when it comes to smells! My DH is rather of the opinion that I've gone odd(er) but after reading this and I'm not alone, I'm normal! lol
I adore the smell of soap, cut grass (which usually makes me heave but not pregnant apparantly!), petrol, a mouse mat made of old types that my FIL gave us, the car engine/bonnet when it's hot, and bleach absolutely makes me swoon in delight!
We were in Tesco once early in my pregnancy and I felt pretty sick (I had horrid morning sickness) I just stuck my face in the baby powder, couldn't stop myself! DH was mortified but I felt so much less sick! After that DH bought me a bottle to sniff excitedly!
After reading this I'm looking forward to creosoting the fence!Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -

It's so nice when you realise that actually despite helpful comments form DH I am totally normal. In fact much more normal than some of the rest of you!:D
Thanks for all the replies - keep them coming they are making me laugh and I'm at that stage of pregnancy where I am fed up with everything and everyone so you are all helping to pass the time.:T :T :T
Managed to only eat a handful of bubbles out of the bath last night. :rotfl:Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet...0 -

Lol!!!! Sorry all - I had to come in and have a giggle at you all!!! Saying that, I haven't got any kids yet so it will probably come and bite me on my bum - I can see it now, being 7months pregnant with marker pens in one hand, bar of soap in the other and dissappearing into the garage to sniff some creosote!!!!
I remember reading a story once (Take a break I think) about a woman who craved petrol - not only did she used to stand in the petrol station inhaling deeply, she also used to dip an old rag in it and keep it in her pocket and occassionally suck on the rag!!!!!!!0 -
