Not noticed that happening on mine. One thing that does very occasionally happen is the entire page will suddenly go black and I have to either refresh or switch to another tab and back again. Some bizarre random redrawing event.

Upgraded to Opera 9.5 on my Linux box (openSuSE 10.3) - does not seem to like working with Flash (eg youtube) - probably crashes for about 10% of the videos.

Opera 9.27 and Firefox 2.0.0.14 both solid with Flash.

Have found a few anomalies. One is that even though I have made a post, sometimes it disappears.
It will be there if I use another broswer. Maybe (F5) doesn't work well with this broswer.
Possibly I know this problem, on two of my machines the upgrade changed settings as to whether the browser loads pages from the cache or checks the server. Try the following....
Tools > Preferences > Advanced and check "History"
Check if cached page is updated on the server, I adjust this to "always" itt has various other time period settings.
Hope for the best.....Plan for the worst!

Haven't seen that..........yet. I'll watch for it over the next couple of days.

    OOOOPPS!

When Mrs V turned the PC on today, AOL didn't want to connect - she had to re-install the modem.

Wonder if this is just a coincedece, or 'cos I installed Opera last night (she tuninstalled it just in case!!)

Don't know but if you have absolutely any AOL software installed (which you don't need to by the way) then it is apparently awful for conflicts etc.
