Just upgraded (think last version was 9.27) and does look rather different. Haven't fully tried it out yet but supposedly quite a few improvements (including speed) and added features. It's apparently the "stop gap" version until 10 is released.

I'll try and keep an eye out for that and see if it happens to me."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Thanx, basically if I stop browsing the forum, minimise to the taskbar and do something else, whenever I bring the browser back uo and go to navigate to another forum or thread, I notice I have been logged off. Cookies are enabled as is the option to remember my logon.Hope for the best.....Plan for the worst!

Latest Opera 9.5 runs VERY fast, Firefox 3 beta still too buggy, Safari nice but not intuative, Firefox 2 memory hog, IE7 no thanks.

Strange, I can't repeat that problem. I stay logged in."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Thanx for checking anyway, I found if I stopped browsing, browser minimised for about an hour and then say checked the forum index I'd be logged out, I'll keep an eye on it and see if it persists.
Worse was to come, since other than this minor annoyance it was working well on my laptop, I updated my desktop. On this machine it made changes to the appearance, which I couldn't work out how to fix. I had a small Icon of a magnifying glass top left next to google search field, when clicked on this opened a drop down tool bar with the zoom feature and a few other icons. The update binned that and added this as a permanent dirty great toolbar along the bottom. So I binned it. I'm not having an update rearrange my setupHope for the best.....Plan for the worst!
