Paying off An Orange contract So I can get an iPhone

Given that you've got to pay Orange anyway, you might as well use the included minutes for the rest of the contract.
And if you can wait until October, perhaps the iPhone offers will improve after the initial rush, and effectively you could save £200 or so. If not, why not have 2 contract for this 4 months?
If I could just run down the contract then that would be great, but I need the PAC code to switch to O2 (use this number for work and play, have had it for years)
