found today - Pure Creamed Coconut (200g block) just 10p.

This stuff is usually around about a £1 a pack so a good bargain. Great for putting into home made curries!

in our store they were found in the Oriental/World foods section. Hope it's the same in your store :)

No special yellow label or anything, just a normal white shelf label that said 10p - easily missed if you're not a hawkeye like me :o

Blimey - thats a good way to make customers look at Every Single Item in the store. I might have to take a stroll round Tesco next time rather than my usual zoom

Our Tesco had a shelf edge label saying 14p for those blocks of coconut so I initially picked up four - which promptly went through the till at 8p each, so naturally I went back for half a dozen more! OH is going to fall about laughing when he sees them piled up on top of the oven!:rotfl:

I found a fab 10p item in Tesco today:

Fox's speciality all butter brandy snaps - pack of 8, for 10p

also bought some strawberries, and a big pot of double cream which was on offer for £1

that's desert sorted for lunch tomorrow - and the diet blown again!
