French mustard 20pence 185gr and ready made cubed jelly 8pence.
  • They are online and instore, i think you just have to get lucky and stumble accross them caffenero. I've found these just by chance, i assume any weeks i've not come accross anything is because the items are'nt ones i usually buy. It seems to happen most weeks however and it seems to be a different item each week.

I must also point out that this is not their own brand value stuff, as that is already cheap enough. it is branded items that they just seem to pick to put out cheap - i wonder if they're doing it to see if we notice!!! I don't care why they're doing it - i like it!!! Just wish we knew what was coming next - The first one i noticed was Nescafe Decaf Alta Rica - usually £3.48 - on the shelf for 60p - thought it was a mistake on their part but naturally bought about 10 jars - yay!!!

I've seen Birds rum sauce for 10p it was in the little cartons, next to the tinned custards etc
Think they were selling it off, due to it been the wrong time of year for it.

I now glide along fast as I can just looking for anything below a £1, don't actually look at the product, just the edge price. Ready meals sometimes come up cheap. Eyes are now clued in to bargains.

No, it's the dried mix of pearl barley, lentils , peas etc, that you put into soup and stews.
I use it to bulk up meat that I cook for my dogs.

Thanks, how much do these usually cost? I've never tried using this before. Might give it a go in a stew.

As far as i can remember it's around 50p normally. I noticed yesterday that Asda have it for 13p. and the dried onions for 7p
  • what i like about thse dried onions ( bought 8 yesterday) is that there is very little sodium (trace) usually when things are dried, they dd salt, its nice that these didnt.
