Got some Creamed Coconut blocks for 6p in Tesco and some Seasame Seed Bars for 2p each
  • Asda do noodles for 8p, and they actually have more than just curry flavour- prawn and chicken are available.
Also most supermarkets have swiss rolls basics version for about 12p, and lets not forget the humble doughnut at 10p, or 12p sainsburys.
also tesco and asda both do basics fruit yoghurts for around 8p each;)

Spotted the 10p Shower Gel yet? A generous size. Tends to slip off the hank quicker than a bar of soap, but rub between the hands first and your in business. Minimum bubbles but not bad. Squeeze out and has a tendancy to squeeze back in on release, but again there is an art to this 10p stuff. I like the price and the product is not bad, but from a male point of view!:j

I'd rather not know what you do with your hank, thanks very much!

I wrote down all the 'finds' from here and took it with me last night when I did my Mr T shop (sad I know, but hey we are economising !), the only thing my store had was the dried onions, looked for the Jelly, the brown sauce, the coconut, the sesame bars, the custard, the strawberry whip, the cup a soups etc etc and nothing was cheaper than normal, that is in the Amersham store, wouldn't mind but my shopping took double the normal time because I was so obessed with finding something for 10p ! :rotfl:

Decided to try the hunt for 10p finds in my local Tesco store.

    It took me AGES!

Managed to find the 10p Shower Gel, the 8p Strawberry Dessert Whip, and 8p Custard Powder.

Some other things I found were:

    Tin of Value Custard 19p
Small tin of Value Broken Manderin Segments 11p
Tin of Value Fruit Cocktail 23p
Tin of Tesco Cut Green Bean 17p
Value Sage & Onion Stuffing 13p
Heinz Numberetti (pasta shapes in tom.sauce) 400g 28p

The Heinz item seems quite cheap if it is similar to the Heinz Spaghetti - as it is the larger tin.

Please Note: I was charged 26p for the tin of Value Custard (SEL said 19p) but when I returned to check, the SEL had been removed. I got DTD. Don't know if this means the price of this item has just gone up so you might want to check your local Tesco, just in case there are some OLD prices left.

Finally I managed to find a 10p item I haven't seen mentioned on here:

It was a small packet of 'Mulled Wine Spices' and was labelled Tesco Christmas. I didn't get any as I wasn't interested.

I probably ended up missing other things as I was concentrating on just looking at shelf prices - is there a knack to it!
