I'll be interested to see if the 10p finds apply.
I'm guessing that they might not be unfortunately. The reason for the 10p and similar offers is that it's an overstock at the warehouse - they issue out the overstock to the stores as "free stock" apparently and it's up to the store manager how much they sell them for - of course as they've got the stock for free and it's then cluttering up their stock room so they just want to get it shifted, hence the crazy prices.
While I think of it Nessie - a favour if you could. As and when you've visited the "new" Stornoway store, could you let me know if they are still stocking the Stag Bakeries goodies? (I know the Co-up at Ropework Park do a good bit of the range, but there always used to be the odd thing you could get in Somerfield but not in the Co-op). I'm sure I got a mailing the other day for 20p off any herbs too - that would be nice....."Life was easier when I didn't have a clue"0 -
EssexHebridean, I wouldn't disregard the new store, we had a Tesco open up 18 months ago and when it first opened there was loads of bargains. I went every night and got lots of stuff. I think it's cos they don't know what stock levels to keep and base the levels on the nearest existing Tesco store, which doesn't necessarily mean they'll sell the same amounts. Worth a try looking.0

Gales lemon curd was 20p at my local store yesterday. There were none left on the shelves though.0

Has anyone seen any 10p things at the Talbot Green Tesco? I found Fudge bars for 10p and Flumps for 7p. The kids are doing well, but what about me?!?!?!?!?! lol!0

Hi,
I went to my local Tesco yesterday and managed to pick up Dr Oetker (prev Supercook) Hundreds and Thousands for 13p, and also Gales Lemon Curd for 20p a jar!
Looks like me and the kids will be doing some baking this week esp since the weathers turned! Always happens when I have a week off! :mad:0
