Tiscali saving

probably not the right forum,but Im happy so got to share it:j

read through the advise on here on switching broadband provider,looked at O2 and their £7.50 a month deal for 8mb service; much better than my current one (1mb 14.99 month with Tiscali).
phoned up Tiscali to get migration code..'why are you leaving sir' etc etc.Never had any issues with Tiscali (just their current price)

upshot is upgraded Tiscalis to 8mb service,uncapped downloads,12 month contract,3 free months ,and a new price of £7.99 pm after the initial free months.(saving 107.97 by my count for the cost of a 0845 call) :rotfl: :rotfl: :j

next up Telewest TV and our current TV costs;) ...........might be a bit harder?

Have you checked you don't live in a Tiscali TV coverage area

Telewest didnt want to play........say they can only offer me anything if I have something else(Broadband/phone)........joy.:rolleyes:

I think 30.50 a month for their service takes the mick (when Sky offer same package for £21)...........anyway off to see if Sky can help me out...........surrounded by trees though so pointing the dish and getting a picture may not be possible.:beer:
