Made a couple of cross stitch coasters to go with a cup/mug for birthday pressies...

I read a really nice idea in a magazine which was to draw a silly cartoon to sum up your relationship with someone and then frame it as a gift for them. I think I am going to draw a silly one of myself and 2 of my friends and give it to them as a gift, maybe with a friendship quote on

I finally made them - here is picture of the first one I made - I saw rainmacs in a hamper and thought they looked great so here is mine (I love them - I'm making them for everyone next year!!!!!!)

Still haven't finished my sisters cross stitch tiger. The thing is driving me mad lol!! Instead to have a break from it I've been working on the meerkat that Rainmac sent me! They are plastic and come in two parts so you can add a picture, photo or a stitched something inside and then pop the back on. You can buy the same but as keyrings, magnets and bookmarks. Craft shops tend to sell them. HTH
