Well thanks to this forum I've now got a stall at 2 events over christmas and I'm scared stiff!!!
Just want you opinion on this I plan to sell _:-
Snowman soup at £1.50
Chocolate "Fannel Logs" £0.80
Reindeer Food £.050
Reindeer made with flannels not sure yet
I'm praying it all goes to plan!
I recently sold the my flannel cupcakes (two in a bag) and reindeers at £2.50. No-one said it was too pricey. I even have some order for more reindeers as I sold out.
Haven't sold snowman soup yet but the impression I get from people that have is they would sell for more than £1.50 perhaps £2.00 or £2.50.
Good luck. Let us know how you get on.0 -
I just replied on another thread about a gift idea for someone 'difficult', and it made me think. Has anyone else heard about the ' five love languages', I think it's really interesting and explains why some people love hampers and home made gifts and some like to have time, others words etc. Worth a look if you always wonder why someone doesn't appreciate your giftGod is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day

Wow your prices are good, I'd charge a bit more I think but maybe I'm just greedy.
Well done on doing the stalls, you'll do really well cos the items are fabMake sure all your friends and family know you're doing them so they can come and support you and give you a hand if you need anything.
Good luck:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Hi everyone, sorry I haven't posted on here for ages!!!
I'll try and catch up on everything I've missed later. Anyway here's my progress so far:
DONE:
Mum's scrapbook, I've done 5 pages, I thought I'd do her more for mother's day, birthday etc.
Mum's door hanger, decorated notebook.
Shadow box for Mum and Nan.
I've decorated 1 shoebox for cards, well its sort of finished!
Mini scrapbook album for neice
TO DO:
Decorate another shoebox, make loads of cards, mini scrapbook for 2 neices, decorate keepsake box for Mum. Maybe shadow box for sister or OH's Nans.
As you can see I have been useless and still have got loads to do - aaahhhh! There's so many lovely ideas on here for things, but I don't think I'll have time to do them, plus I don't think some of my relatives would appreciate them - gits!
Sounds like you need to get cracking
Have you bought your shadow boxes in Home Bargains? They don't sell them in mine :wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Rainmac - lovely picture, before I read your comments, I thought you'd found another matching frame rather than do it yourself. You are brave painting it, I can read what it says, does your OH need glasses?????
I was wondering that as everyone else can read what is says fineI think he just likes to be critical of what I make
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Angie - great xmas cards, I have been really lazy and have hardly made any.
Pinkladymel - I really hate you! But in a good way. When I make something I am normally pleased ish with it, then I see your stuff and mine looks like it was made by a chimp.
This so made my laugh cos it's absolutely not true, your stuff is fab :j. Mel is just superhuman or something as she can do things that no normal person can do:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Oh my life. You two made me laugh so much. Melissa your work is gorgeous and everyone thinks so. Leave the "chimp" name calling for your husband and let us see some pics of your gorgeous things x
I WISH I was superhuman.. Starting to feel like I need to be this Christmas!
I haven't checked this thread in ages and now I'm so cheery!!

Oh Rainmac, she did get them from Home Bargains. They sell them in mine. You know that weird aisle where they have like ornaments and tat.. it is up there. In a brown cardboard box. I could get you some and post them but they're quite heavy. Let me know :xmastree::xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0

More info please Sian...things like this intrigue me too & I've not heard of this at all before now. I've always assumed that I've got folk totally wrong--y'no when you see something & think "X would really like that!" but you can tell by the  in their eyes when they open it....Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

Hi
Could someone kindly please tell me how to insert my photos in here. I am wanting to share pics of my crafting with you but when I try they come out as text not a photo. This happened when I tried copy and pasting.
When I click on the insert image yellow icon nothing happens... I wonder if it is because I am a newbie that I have not got access to this facility.
I am doing something wrong somewhere as I have seen lots of pics on here but I have tried and tried withour success.
Hi everyone and thanks for sharing your ideas. I hope to do the same with mine when I learn how to show you the pics.0
