Hello rainmac - I really like these. How big are they?

Hi susan, thank you. The heart shape is about 15.5cm across at the widest point and 20cm long. I bought mine from this ebay seller (have also bought door hangers and plaques). I love the idea of using one to countdown the days till Xmas and may buy a star shape or other to do this - thanks for the fab idea Mel :D

There are loads of crafters on here - there is even a crafter introduce yourself thread somewhere on this board.... Enjoy and welcome!:p

Technically if you want to refer people to yourself you should put it on the referrers board I think.

I'm not amazingly crafty but I think sometimes it defeats the object of the exercise if things look too professional! (That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!)

Anyhow, inspired by MSE threads I've persuaded a friendly Freecycler to let me prune her lavender and I've been busily cutting up any of DH's shirts that are in the least bit torn, stained, frayed ... or to be honest if I just don't like them. (Don't tell - he won't notice until I get to the bottom of the ironing pile and they still aren't home to roost in his wardrobe.) So it'll be some little lavender bags for a start.

  • Hey all, just found this and wondered if people thought it would be worth doing?

Even if only half of it is good it would still be a bargain, might take the risk...
