  • I am usually in Scrapbook Inspirations (I am in it twice this month my name is Melanie Marshall) but In the scrapbooking world (which is what I do) the standard is so good and it is very cliquey so my work is very low standard compared to them.

Wow Mel, I think you should be really proud of yourself, they obviously aren't making you feel your work is as good as it really is. I'd love to see more of it, what are the main things on your Christmas present list? Do share more.
Any advice on how to make the '365 jokes/quotes/facts' jars look more special? I'd like to put a label on it, any ideas?

It is SO nice to come here and have people compliment me I didn't expect it at all. Thankyou so much.

    xx

    Wow! Yet again!

Will have to buy it this month (or at least flick through it to see your bits!!)
  • I quite like the look of these bottles for Xmas gifts:

Maybe I will buy some to make homemade vodka (the kola kube flavour sounds fab, maybe lemon sherbet would be nice as well)

Before you order through Lakeland, check out these ones...

Awwww furrypig thats so adorable! This is what happens when we try to get Christmas organised, we send those around us Christmas mad!! I asked my other half the other where we were going to put the Christmas tree in the new apartment, when he said he had no idea I asked if we could get it out and decorate it...to which he promptly said no!

Pinkladymel - I love the idea of counting down the days til Christmas on one of Rainmac's stars! Another thing to add to the list hehe its terrible really as I think oh I must make that then forget all about it! I was going to make boxes of homemade cards for family for Christmas and I completely forgot until today!

Love love love the little peg fairies AND found some pegs in the boys craft box the other day!! Guess what Isabelle will have hanging in her bedroom lol.

Also love the blackboard hearts, they'd make gorgeous tree decortations or gift tags and can be used afterwards!

    Off to scour ebay ;)

I've made these little heart chalkboards today using MDF heart shapes from the lady who sells the door hangers on ebay, blackboard paint, some ribbon and a few crystal dots. I'm really pleased with them. Just need to buy some chalk to go with them. I envisage them in kitchens, what do you think? Going to add them to a couple of baskets I'm putting together for Xmas. May use them as a tag or write a Xmasy greeting on them.

May make some more as have loads of blackboard paint left ;)

Hello rainmac - I really like these. How big are they?
