We still just don’t know anything. The papers have been served on the contractors and we just have to wait and see what will happen. It is D-day tomorrow when they would have been expecting us to role up with a load of money

I am heartened (a little) that apparently we have extra protection because the contracts were posted to us and we signed them at home.

I am amazed by your support and thank you for it. I will definitely let you know what happens.

A fool and his money …. It almost makes me laugh, I am so careful with money I won't even buy a can of beans unless I think it is a good purchase!

The heat of the Spanish sun and all that is enough to addle the most seasoned brain, that is for sure. Once bitten, thrice shy, I am sure.

Fingers crossed for you, and hope that all goes well.

The Dali Lama says we should trust and feel compasion for everyone, but I guess he's never had anyone sell him an offplan appartment and lost money.

Avicoa I've known people do exactly what you did and make easy money. Your only crime was timing, which, to be fair you might have looked deeper into. Sites like housepricecrash have been predicting the current credit crunch for over 3 years (there were threads on there by a genius called Dr Bubb, entitle 'The comming credit crunch' - this more than 2 years ago). I sold my B2Ls as a result of reading that site.

I lost money on a new build appartment, by letting enthusiasm conquer reason.

Very many thanks for that. I actually found them only yesterday, I have been posting ever since.
You are right, they are useful.
