She has definitely got mixed up. She has messaged saying she hasn't got the item, or the refund (which she has cashed) and she has had no reply to countless e-mails etc etc.
This is wrong as she has only sent me 2 messages, both of which I replied to. She firstly described what the problem was and why she was unhappy. I said fine, and I offered to refund her the money she paid. She said that it was too much but then said she must have got mixed up as there was another shirt which hadn't arrived and that the seller had been kicked off so she expected to lose her money on that one.
Like I said to her on the message, OH WELL EH!
Could be worse, I could be a Leeds fan. Oh I am. Shucks.0 -
It shouldn't have, the buyer has done their part perfectly and deserved a positive, whether they give a negative or not.
Obviously in this situation a negative for the seller seems bizarre but a retaliatory neg would not be fair (don't think it's possible now anyway)
... but if the buyer has paid and then fabricates comments about the item received, it does deserve a negative as it is mischief-making at the best, and can be damaging. i think that not lying about the seller is part of being a buyer, not just payment.
and btw, i have just been scammed by someone who omitted the postage before paying, and i didn't notice because it was only 32p. feel a mug tho!
(only noticed because ebay kicked out buyer and alerted me )0 -

It's nothing to do with the transaction though, this is why they've changed the rules, too many people thinking that what feedback they get should determine, or play a large part in determining, what feedback they give back. You're meant to be rating someone on their performance as a buyer or seller, not in how they acted after the transaction was completed.
I kow some people disagree but rating someone based on the feedback they give is illogical.Bought, not Brought0 -
Here we are ... I sent this message to her -
"Hi, I have had about 2 or 3 messages from you via eBay. You sent me the following message just after you received the item -
"Before I leave you feedback I am dropping you this line to say I am a bit disappointed with the shirt. As you described it as 'BRAND NEW' and 'NEVER BEEN WORN' I was intending making a gift to my son of this garment. BUT it does appear to be a bit scruffy especially around the neck as if it has been worn or at least been sat somewhere and got a bit dusty. Now don't get me wrong here I think it is a lovely shirt and I am sure it is authentic and will wear very well- and as you rightly say is on the generous side. But I think my husband - who is a bit bigger than my son - may well end up with this as I don't think it looks like a new shirt. I certainly need to wash it before anyone wears it. I am not going to leave negative feedback and am not writing this because I want a refund. I just thought you should know how I feel. Hope that's O.K Best wishes from E-bayer"
There was also some confusion about which shirt it was as you had bought a couple of shirts - you sent me this message afterwards -
"I am getting confused - Yes you are right I did pay £3.70 for the shirt. It was another one a Yves saint Laurent one that cost £3.20 but I don't think that is going to arrive although I have paid for it - the e-bayer has been suspended. I seem to be unlucky when it comes to shirts for my son."
If you check 'sent' via ebay messages you should still see these messages. I then offered you a refund of the £3.70 you paid and this was cashed on the 6th June and you must have received the item as you described it pretty well !"
I have been sent this in reply -
"Hello again, I have just carefully worded a follow up comment on the feedback saying I left it in error. Hopefully that will tell other uses that you have not made a mistake but I have. I have also requested through customer support that they remove the negative comment I made. I believe it can be done in certain circumstances and I think this is one of them on the list. Don't worry I will make sure it gets turned around and I am so sorry I mistook you for someone else who did not send my shirt and kept my money. Once again I apologise for my stupidity. no excuses."
Oh well eh!
I wouldn't mind but the shirt I sold is multicoloured stripes - how could you miss it !? hehe :rotfl:0 -

Exactly. If the buyer screws around with a seller after payment is made then that should be reflected in their feedback as part of an overall assessment of the transaction.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
