This is a seriously cheap deal from Play on a camera that packs in a lot of features for its price range and generally has very good feedback.
UPDATE: 11 June 10.22am. This is temporarily out of stock. However, it will dispatch when available, so you can still buy it, but it'll take a bit longer to reach you.
Play's now listing as a preorder for £119:mad:"And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,Telling me about the sea..."0 -

This was being sold in last years Argos cat for £299.99!!
If you search completed listings you will see that they have gone for as little as £41+£7 delivery - £48 delivered for a 10MP half decent make cannot be beaten I think!!
Yes refurbished but I have bought many items from this seller and they all come with at least 1Yr warranty. Every refurb item I have bought has been new but if like Alan Partridge says, "the packaging has slight superficial damage" they have to describe as refurbished. If you read their blurb you will see that nearly all items have a 12month warranty.
They are not "GRADED" like some other sellers who only offer a 30 day or 3 month warranty. They are the official outlet for Argos selling older stock.
Like many items you will probably find a manager's special ticket saying original price £299- Managers special £149 and then you get it for £40 - 45!! Not bad!!0 -
To find out how much things have gone for minimize this forum and open another browser and sign in to Ebay.
Open this back up, click on link, copy item title and paste into search bar. Scroll down until you see completed items and check and search and it will come up with the prices paid and what you should be aiming towards!!
Here is the cheapest I found

Before I bought my new camera my friend said to be sure and get one with a view finder. I wish I'd remembered that advice. Does anyone else have problems seeing what they're taking in the screen? All I get is reflection! Then I have to find somewhere dark to check what I've taken and maybe delete it and try again! Has anyone got an answer to this problem- not buying another camera!?
try purchasing a set of view finder bellows
there sold by most camara shops or can be purchased from cpc on line (where i bought mine ) they cost about £10 but are well worth it0 -

Its a rebadged Vivitar camera exclusive to Argos , not very good , purely going on megapixels is the worst thing to do
Search on google for Vivitar reviews and you will see how bad they are0 -
I have just bought a Samsung p1000 camera for my daughter from Dixons for £99. It has 10 million pixels and lots of other features, it comes in silver, purple or black. I think this is a good deal.0

Fuji F30 best I know of. Various reviews can be found online. You need to buy the underwater housing for it, the camera doesn't come with it, but you won't regret it.
Not really in the 'cheap' bracket with the added expense of the underwater skin, but you get what you pay for! :cool:Bless Martin's Little Cotton Socks. I thank him for giving us MSE. Look what its grown into!

I've just purchased a Fuji F47fd for £99 from Currys: http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/store/cur_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1194006883.1213456505@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccegadeeghdlledcflgceggdhhmdgmh.0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=935055&category_oid=
It's temporarily out of stock online at the moment but when it is back in stock there's a 5% voucher in the vouchers section and 5% Quidco. It is available to reserve & collect from stores (and PC World at the same price), which I had to do as I need it for my holidays! It gets good reviews on Reevoo http://www.reevoo.com/browse/product_type/digital_cameras/product_brand/Fujifilm/Maximum%20Pixel%20(in%20Megapixel)/9.03
If you can't wait and you don't mind one with 8 megapixels instead, this is basically the same camera: http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3320547/Fuji-FinePix-F40FD-8-3-Megapixel-Digital-Camera-With-Face-Detection-Technology/Product.html0 -
The F40d is the better camera out of the 2 anyway, you can get it from the Fuji shop for £70 delivered if you dont mind a refurb (using the 20% off code)0
