Toooo slow mudbath, you'll have to type quicker!

We've been eating radishes, lettuce, round carrots and spring onions. The rocket is full of holes thanks to the flea beetle, so I'll have to resow and cover with fleece. Parsnips all came up for me for the first year for a while, and I can't say why, as I didn't do anything different. I do always buy fresh seed. This year I forgot to put it on my seed order, so bought White Gem from Johnson's in the local garden centre.

Raining too much here today to do any gardening, even if I felt like it - and I don't. All three children are at home. DD has done her last GCSE exam, and is flaked out with the laptop; DS1 is still on study leave he thinks, as he hasn't bothered to go into school to see when his ICT course begins again. DS2 is another one with the cold and has played on the Playstation all day.

Still no parcel but I am really pleased with the paperwork progress. Time to go to school run and it is rainy and cold so need to change before I go.

    Afternoon everyone.

Another grey, wet misery of a day here. Been to work and done a bit of flying but not much because....well......because I don't feel like it so there :p I haven't been reading though (honest), I have been cuddling the cat, talking to DD2, checking through my fabric stock as I feel the need to make a new quilt coming on (oh wait- perhaps that counts as flying? I did tidy the fabric as I looked through it).

Going to make a cake in a minute because the tin is empty (again ) and I will not spend good money on biscuits when I have the wherewithall to make something at home for a fraction of the cost.......on the other hand I do tend to eat home made cake and I don't tend to eat biscuits and I do need to lose some (a lot) of weight.

Is it my imagination or is this thread quieter of late? A few people seem to be AWOL too

Right - off to make a cup of tea and yell at DD2 to " turn that music (?!?!?) down:rotfl:
People Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading ;)
