Freecycle question please from someone who hasn't quite caught up with 21st century - ie don't 'do' Facebook etc

I have a btinternet e-mail address (ie Yahoo) so it automatically picked that up when I went to join the Freecycle group - does that display when I offer something or can I have a username? Is the username the profile? I didn't fully understand the help. Am I likely to get loads of e-mails so is it worthwhile doing a hotmail (or similar) address just for this?

Sorry for being so thick (or if I should have put it on the de-clutter thread)but I need to get some things out of the house before I change my mind and I know quite a few of you use Freecycle.

    TIA
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Oh dear. Got sidetracked. Still no washing on!

Cooked some spuds that were starting to sprout with the intention to mash them for the freezer ... but the mash looked so good I ate it instead :)

onedayiwill- you seem like a girl after my own heart. This is why I don't like making cakes etc as they never seem to last longer enough for any one eldse to eat them :D

Well I am going to attempt to make some more HM bread. Hopefully this will be better than last time. Each time I make it the inside always seems REALLY doughy. Any tips. please?

    Afternoon everyone!

    >>>>>Just speeding through.................. I'm at work atm.>>>>>>>>

Woke up late this morning and ran around like a complete lunatic for 30 minutes.
After I fell out of bed into the shower I managed to
    • get the littlies up, washed and dressed,
    • loaded up the WM,
    • unloaded the dishwasher,
    • made a quiche for dinner,
    • finished making the packed lunches,
    • made the littlies breakfast with the small amount of milk dh had left
Once I dropped off the littlies at school and playschool I trotted around to my sisters so we could go and get pressies and cards for fathers day, our parents 40th wedding anniversary, dh's birthday and my dads birthday which are all in the next week

Back to fetch ds from playschool at 11.30, arrived home at 11.45, put my uniform on and into work for midday.
If I can manage it I'll do some of THE list when I get home about 8pm though I may fall asleep...........

    Hope
    xx

Do you make it by hand or use a BM?

I've done reasonably well this week. Not ready all the posts so hugs and back slaps to all who require them. I'll keep popping in.
    Stay well, Kitty

still no parcel:mad: and now it is too late to go to the supermarket before school pick up.

On a positive note I am doing well with the paperwork - it all fits in the intray now without toppling on the floor.

Back to it for another 30 minutes.

HHC in the porch - don't have one

I haven't done a proper crossing off list for a while, and yes, I'm wasting time because I don't feel like doing anything much. It keeps on chucking it down with rain, although the sun is shining brightly at the moment. I should go downtown for a while to buy DS2 some more presents, he's 14 on Monday. I think if if looks clear, I'll go in a minute.

And as I'm possibly only three posts away from becoming a 'serious fan' I shall try and think of something else to say!

Mudbath - did you notice that we posted at exactly the same time earlier - spooky!

Kitty - you've done fabulously well this week! As you've been such a good girl, pigpen may very well chuck you a dog bisciut! No expense spared on this thread.
