    Morning all,

Just polished off a big glass of red. :D Went to Mass tonight. It was so sad. A little 10 month old baby girl died during the week from SIDS and the family was there sitting behind me. I could hear their sobs. I ended up in tears as well as a lot of us did. Hard in a little community not to. I don't really know how some people can cope with that sort of loss. Anyway back home now.

Been a bit overcast here today. DH didn't have to go to town so we just pottered around. Big market on one of the other islands tomorrow and we are going there for a bit of a looky see. Taking DGS as well as I'm sure they'll have kiddy rides etc. Did some more mending today. I hope to start another bean bag next week for DGS up at his house. I'm determined to finish my mending first. :D

Granny :kisses3: Hope you feel better soon.
Moiliere DSis goes in for her op Monday week. She's much more confident about it all now. Thanks for the hugs. :D
<hugs> to those poorly or down. Hope you all have a lovely Saturday. Byeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Morning all ................day of our Street Sale and its very wet and miserable. We thought about having a table outside with a few bits and bobs on it but changed out mind...........no-one about in this weather.
Having a day of unwinding today after a fraught week........our lad is now at his brothers for two weeks and we're due a visit next Thursday from son, girlfriend and baby grandson so lots of sorting out of bedrooms etc. to be done...........but not today, just a bit of tidying up to do and the rest can wait till tomorrow.

Have a good day whatever the weather and hugs(((((((((:o )))))))) to those who need them

    Good morning everyone,

((HUGS)) Aussie, what a horrible thing to happen to that poor family x

Taplady - enjoy your week off!!

:hello: mrs mix, Shez, Twink, Tru and everyone else xxx

Well good news, ive signed up the 2 new LOs, 2 lovely boys, its only 6 hours a week, but fits in with me so thats good. Im not going to take any more on now, the only downside is that the new children ive taken on dont start until July, but its nice to know that the work is on its way.

Nothing much happening today, i promised the children a takeaway (fish and chips for them, chinese for me) with my first pay from the new ones who started on Monday (i know i cant really afford it at the moment, but its been so long since we had a treat and i think we deserve it!) so im going to take the opportunity to do some other shopping whilst ive got the car out, so we will be off to Tesco and Aldi (thanks to Rzl, found there bargain fruit!!) for that bargain fruit, and to collect my clubcard points from the last mailing (still saving for our holiday next year, ive half the money saved in deals, so will make it a lot cheaper for us) what a shame it was the wine mailing, will just mean i can enjoy a glass of wine as well as my takeaway!!!

Well, going to make lunch now, hope everyone has a lovely day.
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Has anyone heard from Snowy Owl recently? Hope she is ok!

    Good afternoon everyone.
have spent morning at Church Fair (mostly inside the church this year, really good atmosphere, and, given the dodgy weather and freezing temperature, a good move!)
Have now to walk dogs and do the Mr T shop for the week, reduce the ironing mountain and do some general cleaning. Hey Ho!
Organ recital this evening, so looking forward to that.
((HUGS)) to all who need one today - quite a few I think.
    Enjoy the rest of Saturday.

    Good afternoon all.

Not been around for the last couple of days as I've done something to some tendons in my wrist, so typing etc has hurting. Went to the docs yesterday and he advised to get a wrist support - can you believe they are £13??? Now very skint.

Some lovely new fabric arrived today - turquoise with eagles on it.:j Am going to turn it, and some fab Cherry print stuff into a summer top, ready to wear one of them at Gardeners World Live on Wednesday. Can't wait - we always enjoy it.

DHhas just landed home with a couple of dead cockerels.   Think we may be having chicken for tea...

Hugs to all who want or need them.

Have spent all morning tidying, dusting , polishing, cleanng and vacuumng as someone was coming to view the house at 1p.m.

Viewers have now gone and we treated ourselves to a meal out to celebrate our hard work.

Am not expecting much to come of the viewing but it is good we got things cleared out ready for DD getting back from uni.

Salmon and chicken pieces are defrosting ready for tomorrow and sitting here with a coffee as I am shattered.

Hugs to everyone and see you later.

    Hi to all

Hugs to all that need it. Not many posts today where is everyone?

I am so poor at the moment, some months are like that more than others. Oh well must tighten the belt.

    Lovely sunny day.

I went to the bank and closed an account which although I believe I had had since 1978 when I was a littlun it wasnt any use and it only had £40.00 in it for the last two years. I also called my credit card co to cancel my PPI after all the press about it. I had tried before but they talked me out of it , not going to let them this time. They told me I have to call the appropriate department on Monday. TBH I pay my balance off in full and if I got made redundant I would only have to pay out a few quid and I could cover it myself.!!

    take care

    Afternoon all,

Bit of a funny day here, we took little dog out for a walk in the woods, were intending to go for about 8 miles, bumped into my bosses husband and children, and my dog went to snap at their dog, but got me instead, caught me right on the calf muscle, so I am now sporting a huge bruise, and several bite marks, she has broken the skin several times, my god did it hurt, blood all over leg, so we had to cut the walk short and make it back to the car, luckily at the first aid course yesterday I bought a F/A kit for the car, so managed to dress it and come home. Its swollen up lovely now, going to be black and blue tomorrow  .

Pizza salad and garlic bread for tea, which is cooking now, then Dr Who, and a glass of something chilled, just for medicinal purposes you understand ;) .

Hugs to all those in need

    Evening All

Redruby - ouch! Would definately have a couple of glasses to take the edge off.

Was DS' football presentation day today and spent from 9.30am to 4pm standing in a very muddy field in the mainly pouring rain, last year we were at risk of sunburn. DS had a good time though and I won £10 and a nike sports bag in the raffle. There were wrestlers there which was interesting to say the least.

Had to have a very hot bath once home to defrost. Having a quick surf on here then will be having an early night.

Weather is meant to be better tomorrow, I do hope so - have about 6 loads of washing.
