many years ago some of my friends were booked to go on holiday to france in tents. one of my mates has a over protective mum , who without there knowledge went and changed the dates and accomidation at the travel agent, because they first one they booked was not where she wanted her son staying at ( i should point out they were all 17 or 18 at the time) .

needless to say a lot of us not going found this very funny :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: , but my other friend had to make the travel agent put a note on the computer saying he and he alone could change the booking , and peoples mums were not allowed to meddle.

might be worth doing the same as extra precaution , but i really think you have nothing to worry about and you ex has zero chance of cancelling payment unless he claims fraud , in which case he will be in rather a lot of trouble with the police.
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

He's pretty brainless if he thinks he can get his money back, he's just being stupid and nasty and very childish. Have a nice holiday and next time you see/talk to him ask if he wants a postcard :D

Avoid Kavos if you can.. especially in the morning, as this is when the street is lined with rubbish from the nights before.

Early evening is quiet, and late evening is full of drunken men oggling women.

Id buy the Euro;s where your there, we found many a place that would do 1.25 for the sterling travellers cheque.

I take it that you have refunded him for the money that he has now lost?

Don't event hink about giving him the money back! He should have thought of that before doing what he did. Enjoy your holiday :)

My point was that He has now lost the monies that He paid out(irrespective of his behaviour), but hey!!!, thats ok, at least your Mum got a cheap holiday.

He knew he had paid out money when he decided to cheat, why should she now pay out money to him? It is because of his behaviour that he isn't going on the holiday in the first place.
